Mono Tone Sense of Music

  In Varanasi (Benares), I had got to go to Music Center for listening Sital Music. It's a combo with Tabla. Before this performance, a voilin player had done a performance. It
impressed me coz he used a BLACK BOX. The black box made just a mono tone sound.

 He improvise  his play of voilin with it.  It means that the
performance was restricted by the mono tone. The melody
was effected by the tone coz the mono tone dominate its key.

 And then, they did Sital performance. When I listened their
music, I realized that it's the same as previous performance.
coz the music instrument, Sital, is something the same
 system.

  Sital has got a lot of strings on its neck but he only use only
one string. Others are only for harmonics. so, It's the same role
as the mono tone. It's worth to know.

The Digger Dog

Five years ago, when I was in Benares, in India,
I saw a strange dog. He lives at river side.
The river itself is the sacred river, Ganges.
That river side looks like somehow sand beach.
Firstly, I had noticed that there were several
holes there. It was around 30cm each.

One day, I tried to look inside of one of the holes.
Wow!, there were two eyes bright in the darkness.
The dog lives in the hole. I don't know that he himself
dig it all but he lives in. Later on, I recongnized that
one of white dog walking around, he is the digger dog.

Boring? But this story has got continue.

Three month later, I was in Napal, Katmandu. I visited
some temple. The temples looked simular to Japan's.
It has so small little house at its entrance. It's called
"Hokora" in Japanese. Itself has got some sacred meaning.
Anyway, I don't know why, I tried to open its small 30cm
squeared hinged double doors.

I saw bright two eyes in the darkness. It's somehow
I knew it somewhere before.
