シャラポワ、準決勝へ（チャイナ・オープン）

チャイナ・オープンは準々決勝が行われ、
シャラポワ、クズネツォワ、セリーナ・ウィリアムス、ズボナレワの4人が準決勝に進んだ。
準決勝は
クズネツォワvs.シャラポワ
セリーナvs.ズボナレワ
の組合せで、25日の土曜日に行われる。

シャラポワはエレーナ・ヤンコビッチとの対戦だったが
第1セット5-2とリードした第8ゲームの途中で
足の負傷を悪化させたヤンコビッチが棄権して
ベスト4入りが決まった。

1.今日の出来は？
「いいスタートが切れたと思う。最初のゲームを2ポイントダウンから逆転して取れたので
勢いに乗れた。」

2.クズネ、いや次の試合についてはどう思う？
「まだ相手がどちらになるのかわからないので、次の試合については話したくないわ。
でもクズネツォワはここ2ヶ月くらいすごくいいテニスをしてると思う。
友達なのでお互いのことはよく知ってるの。
もちろん彼女との対戦は楽な試合にはならないだろうけど、勝ちたいわ。」

3.相手選手が負傷して、治療を受けているときは何を考えていたの？
「とにかくモチベーションを保たなきゃ、と。
だって彼女が立ち上がったら、私も準備OKでなきゃいけないからね。
3分の中断ってけっこうな時間なので、ずっと座っていると
ついリラックスしちゃうものよ。
だから、そうならないように、と考えていたわ。」

4.相手が負傷しての勝利、今日はラッキーだったと思う？
「ラッキーだったとは言いたくないわ。
1セット目がとてもいい出来だったのでうれしいし。
彼女は負傷してたかもしれないけど、いくつかの場面でポイントを取ってたら
彼女が勝つ可能性は十分あったし
相手のケガで勝つ試合なんて想像したくもないわ。」

5.セリーナ（ウィリアムス）はいろんなことに興味を持ってるけど、キミはどうなの？
「テニス選手としての自分がとにかく大事だと強く思ってるの。
でも、突然テニスの次に何をしたらいいのか全くわからない、という状況には
なりたくないから、準備もしておきたい。
テニスの次にはファッションに興味があるわ。
まだ学校にも行っていて、違う言葉も覚えようとしてるの。
それにまだ17歳だから、学ぶべきことはたくさんあるわ。」

6.ここまでは2試合とも余裕の勝利だけど、チャイナ・オープン優勝の可能性について
自分ではどう思ってる？
「2回戦が楽な試合だったのは有利に働くと思った。
今日は1セットだけになったけど、いい試合にしたくて一生懸命プレイしたわ。
年末までいい結果が残せたらいいなーと思ってる。
まだプレイするのが楽しいし、それってとても大切よね。
この大会での優勝については考えてないわ。とにかく一生懸命にプレイすることだけね。」

1.How do you evaluate your performance?

I think I started off very well by breaking hard. It is very important to get a good start. and you know i was jumped down to 2 game points. To get that game is very crucial, and from that point I took very good advantage of the set.

2. What do you say about Kuze... what is the outlook of the next match?

I don't know who is gonna win so I don't really want to talk about that right now.

She went out and played well in the past two months. We are good friends and we know each other very well . Of course playing with her is not quite easy but I wanna win.

3. What were you thinking when your opponent was injured and got treatment?

I just have to keep myself motivated. Well I don' know. When she gets up, I have to get ready. 3 minutes break took some time and when you are sitting down, you get a little bit relaxed, and i certainly don't want that happen.

4. Do you think you were lucky today that your opponent got injured and you won the game?

I wouldn't say I was lucky but I was happy to play very good first set. I think even she was injured, she got a couple of good points she could have won the game that could have turned up the match. I think unfortunately I never wanted to imagine i play that kind of match, have to finish the points with the player injured.

5. Serena has a lot of interests, how about yoruself?

I definitely think that my career is crucial as a tennis player, I don't want all of sudden that I don't know what to do next so I want to preapre. of course I have venture I have some interest in fashion after tennis. I am still at schol, I am learning different languages. I am only at 17, so i have a lot a lot to learn.

6. Your first few matches are very easy, how do you think your chance of winning the champion of China Open?

I definitely think that the advantage to me is my 2 nd round is pretty easy. Today I thought it was really even though I played one set. but I played very hard, just tried to go back and get good performance, hopefully get some good results by the end of this year. I still enjoy myself and i think that is a very important thing, I don't really want to look at my chances of winning at China open. I just want to go out, paly and compete hard.
