またまた実家からもらってきた野菜です
何というか、実家の野菜はものすごく生命力がある感じがします
打ち合わせの帰り道、道路の上で桜の花びらが舞っているのを見ました。
福岡城址のお堀の並木道に咲いている八重桜の花吹雪の中を
歩いて帰るのはとても気持ちよかったです
2009年10月
ニューヨークのマジソン・スクエア・ガーデンで
「ロックの殿堂２５周年記念コンサート」（！）というものが行われました。
行けるものなら、行きたかったです。。
その時のU2とミック・ジャガーの

・・・さすがにミック・ジャガーはカッコイイと思いました（御年65歳！）。
でも私が涙してしまったのはやっぱりエッジのギターの音、
それを支えるアダムのベース、ラリーのドラム、
そしてその歌詞でした。

どうにもならないほど苦しい、
ただただ苦しい、
生きていくのが辛い、

親友のマイケル・ハッチェンスに捧げた曲です。

という一節に
あらためて色々なことを考えさせられました。
今日4月4日はアメリカ公民権運動の指導者マーティン・ルーサー・キング牧師が
39歳の若さで凶弾に倒れ、亡くなった日です。
死の前日の最後のスピーチの映像がここにあります。
死を覚悟しているとしか思えない、壮絶なスピーチです。
そこからは、何物にも屈しない、
決してぶれることのない強い信念が伝わってきます。
「非暴力主義の奥底には
命を捧げられるほど愛しくて、貴くて
永遠に真実な何かがあると確信する」
1963年、平等を訴えるデモ行進をするキング牧師達の前に
立ちはだかる警官らに対してキング牧師が言った言葉です。
それを聞いた警官達は、上官の命令を無視し、
道を開けたといいます。
暴力に対し、非暴力で耐える姿が
加害者側であった白人達の良心を呼び覚ましたのです。
3月の終わり、息子達と久しぶりに大濠公園に散歩に行きました。
平日とはいえ、春休みのせいかものすごい人出でした
今回は、初めて日本庭園にも行きました。
そのあと、すぐ隣にある市立美術館の常設展示室を観に行きました（これまた初めて^_^;）
現代美術はなかなかわかりにくいですが、
その中でも私が衝撃（＝感銘）を受けたのは
スイスの芸術家ジャン・ティンゲリーの「ソフィア・ローレンの悪夢」でした。
大量の廃棄物を吐き出した20世紀の物質文明。
この廃棄物を作品の素材としたジャンク・アート（廃物芸術）の代表者といわれるティンゲリーの
「動く」芸術作品。
