PTFE (also known as Teflon) has the lowest co-efficient of friction of any solid material and is greatly effective operating at extreme temperatures. This rod also has a fantastic chemical resistance and excellent electrical insulation properties. However, PTFE rod can be difficult to bond, but it is non-melting and is also self-extinguishing. Our manufacturers make engineering plastics that are somewhat oversized in either diameter and/or thickness. 1.500 MAX ID X 25 FT CONVOLUTED PTFE TUBING

PTFE (Teflon) Convoluted Tubing, ranging from 1/8" inside diameter up to a 4" inside diameter. Normally supplied in natural PTFE, we can also provide this convoluted tubing in FEP, MFA, PFA, ETFE, PVDF, or PEEK™.

PTFE Convoluted Tubing is available in coils or with cuffs (straight ends on each side of the tubing) that can be sized on the inside or outside diameter.

PTFE Lined Stainless Steel Braided Hose

The anti-static PTFE liner is fully resistant to fuel vapor penetration. Unique semi-corrugated liner design is much more flexible than other types of hose, but the smooth bore retains optimum flow. The hose ends require no special tooling to assemble, so you can build hoses at the track. Stainless steel outer braid has a copper-colored strand for easy identification (except on -4 size). All sizes are rated to 30 in-Hg vacuum service up to 130°C (266°F). Temperature range -70°C to 260°C (-90°F to 500°F).
