Bennie K's latest song is cute, but I don't get why Yuki is wearing a funeral-type dress and I don't like the washed-out colours. For a cute song it should be brighter. If Cico can really play the banjo then I'm thoroughly impressed.

Another one of my favourite songs. It's the new opening song for the NANA anime. It's so good. I watched the CDTV performance and she's not that good singing live and she speaks Japanese with a strong westerny accent.

Koda Kumi - Yume no Uta

I was confused when I first saw/heard these two PVs because they're almost the same. I recognise the guy from a really bad horror movie called Mizuchi ( Death Water). I think he's too old and I don't like his gelled hair - I think he had the same hair in the movie as well. It's kinda creepy when he just nuzzles her neck as she lays dead/dying - showing no emotion. He could be in shock but I suspect it's just bad acting. Mizuchi also starred Hoshii Nanase - she wasn't very good in it either.

misono - Lovely Cat's Eye

I shouldn't really compare the two sisters but it's hard not to. They're completely different artists. The song is ok. I think the video is inspired by another fairytale - The Blue Bird? Maybe I'm wrong... I dunno - but I do know that Misono looks really bad in this video.

It's the opening song for the Powerpuff Girls Z anime. Once you get over her strange nasally voice it's quite a cute, rocking song.
