Preliminary camp for the 5th International Volunteer Work Camp

About 20 high school students and some of the supporters got together at the Aso National Youth Exchange Center on March 30 and 31, to think and prepare together for the 5th International Volunteer Work Camp on Aug. 1,2 and 3.

We have one day more this time than the last time. So more time can be spent for the work group session and some new programs may be added. It will help high school students, university students and international students exchange idea and grow as cultivate their potentialities. Power to live will be fostered !

Theme for the work groups are as follows:

1. Dream
2. Japanese culture
3. Foreign countries cultures
4. Social problem
5. Environment
6.Multi-culturism
7.Self expression

Now, the students in charge for the each work group will try best to proceed on it most fun and productive.

NGO Collaborative "SAKURA" Festival

On Sat. 27 and Sun. 28 March at the Kumamoto City International Center, the NGO Collaborative "SAKURA" Festival will be held. having various programs such as stage performances, NGO booths introducing their activities and selling the items from the countries where they do something to support and exchange friendship etc. For more information, please contact with KIF, at pj-info@kumamoto-if.or.jp

The 5th International Volunteer Work Camp !

The next work camp, 5th International Volunteer Work Camp is now planned to take place on Aug. 1,2, and 3 (two night and three days) at the Aso Youth Center, the same place as the last one was held.
