The TX9000 adds new technologies acquired with Tandberg to Cisco's traditional TelePresence to provide with Cisco said is its most advanced collaboration capabilities yet in a TelePresence system.

Advanced Cisco WebEx integration enables one-button-to-push simplicity for scheduling and starting WebEx and TelePresence integrated meetings with future capabilities to support adding WebEx ad hoc to any TelePresence call using the Cisco TelePresence Touch interface.

The Jabber enhancements see it expand to clients for both iPad and Windows, adding to its existing support for Android, iOS, Mac, BlackBerry and Cisco Cius tablets.

"It solidifies the BYOD strategy and increases the play for holistic offerings. Partners can address BYOD issues by offering a single user experience in a multiple end point opportunity, with collaboration enabling LOB applications with Jabber."
