I survived Tokunoshima (徳之島)

先週末に第22回鉄人達の島 トライアスロンIN徳之島大会
Swim - 2.0 km
Bike - 75 km
Run - 21 km
少しびっくりしました。このDistanceはそんなに長くない。。。OK。。。長いけどそんなに怖くない

でも感想をしました
今年練習が昨年より早く始まったけど調子はまだグッドではないです

。体重(70kg)と体脂肪(23%)はまだ問題

です。でも間違えないConditionは昨年よりいいです。
6月にいい練習があんまり出来なかった。仕事といろいろなことがあって時々のいい練習が出来たーその日友達と頑張ったけど(友達へ「ありがとう

一週間前にEuropeから帰って来て先週ずっと時差ぼけだと思っていました。何時も眠いと少しだるい

金曜日に来てすぐ分かりましたー低い熱が出たので。。。風邪!
でもそんなにひどくない風邪だから大丈夫だと思っていました。六年前のアイロンマンジャパン大会もレース当日に低い熱があった。でも感想しました。今回レースの前日に闘牛を見ながら寝ましたーー少し心配して来た
でもいい情報が一つ。。。土曜日夜まで大雨だった。それで天気予報は日曜日ーー曇り! それだったらSurviveが出来る!

このコースは難しいです。バイクは坂が多いし。。。ランは特に難しい。。。Climb, climb, climb!
Race Report (英語で)
SWIM: The swim conditions were good. Only a medium strength current the first 1km and a strong current coming back for the return 1km. The water wa also chilly -- which dropped my body temperature and eliminated any feeling of being ill! The first 300 meters were great. I grabbed onto a fast pack and found a great draft. Then suddenly I lost strength and the pack just went away. I swam alone until 800 meters and found a pack for about 150 meters. The last 1km was all alone -- there was a pack about 50meters ahead, butI could not catch it. Finished around 35m in about 34th.
BIKE: I knew before the race that this was going to be painful. My weakest point in biking is the hills -- and this course had a lot. Combined with the fact that I have not done a lot of quality bike training the past 6 weeks, this was going to be a hard day. The only surprise of the day was that my flat speed was faster than normal -- there were numbers of sections where the meter was greater than 50km/h. However, the hills were a disaster -- I was only passed by a handful of people on the flats, but by a ton on the hills. There were also numerous power outages -- strong from 5 minutes and then extremely weak for 5 minutes. I cannot be sure about the cause here - could have been nutrition, could have been the cold. In any event, finished in 2:44 in about 50th.
RUN: The good thing is that I knew how tough the run course was from last year -- so NO Surprises. The sun was scorching - it felt like 36-37 degrees with absolutely no shade. The first 5km was extremely slow (45minutes) -- I walked part of it -- this is basically the result of very little run training this year. The rest of the run went well, faster than last year by a good amount.
Overall, finished around 50 - basically the same as last year, but with a time more than 20 minutes faster. I chalk the faster time to having more training. Who knows how much faster I would have gone if I wasn't sick -- but who knows and really, it does not matter that much.
Main goal - 69kg on Sunday morning! 痩せました!

今週から頑張ります! なんとなく9月頭まで64kgまで痩せることが出来ます!
