Three Kingdome in Chine ( 三国史)from 220-280 AD was the tripartite division of China among the states of Wei ,Shu,and Wu.The Three kingdoms period stated with the end of Han dynasty and was followed by the Jin dynasty. The short-lived Yankingdom in the Liaodong Peninsla, which lasted from 237 to 238,is sometimes considered as a " 4th Kingdome ".To distinguish the three states for other historical chinese states of the sam names,historical Chinese states of the same names,historians added a relevant character to the states orginal name;the state called itself Wei ( 魏)is also known as Cao Wei ( 曽魏)or just Shu and the state that called itself Wu ( 呉)is also known as Eastern Wv ( 東呉)or Sun Wu ( 孫呉).Academically ,the period of Three King domes refer to the period between the foundation of the state of Wei in 22o AD the conquest of the state of Wu by the Jin dynasty in 280.
