Last month, a colleague of mine from our branch in the USA, whom we had known each other for 20 years but hadn’t had the chance to see each other face to face, finally visited our office.
It was a wonderful experience to finally see her in person, and we had a wonderful four days together.
We had dinner together several times, went shopping to buy souvenirs for her, and even attended a half-day Tokyo bus tour together.
Although it was only four days, it felt much longer, and despite it being our first time meeting in person, it felt like we had known each other every day for a long time.
Now, I am highly motivated to study English.
I am confident that I could have had much better communication with her if I had comprehended more English words.
