Crab apple

Japanese crabapple (Himeringo). 
Its small tart fruit is suitable for preserving and making a tangy jelly. I think I'm curious about the taste.
And  did you know that it produces the best flowering displays?  Yes, flowers from pale pink color which mature to white.
