ビートルズは、1963年から1969年までの7年間、毎年、
オフィシャル・ファン・クラブ会員向けに、
クリスマスのメッセージ・レコードを配布しました。
おしゃべり中心のレコードです。


レコードは、LP盤でおなじみのvinyl（ビニール）製ではなく、
安価なFlexi Disc（フレキシ・ディスク）(ソノシート）と呼ばれる
薄型ビニール製シングル盤です。
イギリス向けとアメリカ向けがありました。


1970年12月、バンドの解散後、英国のファンクラブは、
「 From Then to You 」というタイトルで7つのFlexi Discを
すべてをまとめたvinyl（ビニール）製のLPをリリースしました。
米国では、1971年春、リリースされています。（約43分35秒）


ビートルズのメンバーでクリスマス・アルバムをリリースしているのは、
リンゴ・スター（１９９９年）のみとなってます。


このCDは、７つメッセージ以外に、アウトテイク分を追加したコレクターズCDです。
