２１日午前、横浜市金沢区のバス停に車が突っ込み、バスを待っていた７０代の女性が死亡した。

警察によると２１日午前９時１５分頃、金沢区洲崎町の横浜金沢八景郵便局前のバス停に乗用車が突っ込み、バスを待っていた小島里子さんに衝突した。小島さんは病院に搬送されたが死亡が確認された。

警察は、車を運転していた蒲谷千恵容疑者を過失運転致傷の疑いで現行犯逮捕した。

蒲谷容疑者は、バス停側の駐車場から車道に出た際、ハンドル操作を誤ってＵターンするかたちでバス停に突っ込んだということで、警察の調べに対し「アクセルとブレーキを踏み間違えた」などと話し容疑を認めているという。
