Kohitsuji Japanese Preschool 3, 4 & 5 year olds

OUR MISSION: Bible based Curriculum, Teach Japanese language and culture.
Age & Regulations:
In order to enroll for the Fall term (Sep), a child must be 3 years old as of Septermber 1st. If your child is 3 years old by February 1st, he/she can enroll for the Spring term (Feb). In both cases, the child needs to be immunized and potty trained.
Program:
Arts, crafts, music (rhythm, Japanese songs, hand motions, children’s praise songs), outdoor activities, books, special guests, etc.
Time:
9:30am-1:00pm,
Tuesdays ,Thursdays & Fridays
Things To Bring:
Lunch with drink, change of clothes and a small towel to dry their hands.
Attire: play clothes
At the time of registration please pay the $75 nonrefundable registration fee. Monthly tuition payments are due the first class day of each month. Please understand there will be no reimbursement for a child’s absence. Please make checks payable to Kohitusji Japanese Preschool. A late fee of $10 will be charged for overdue payments. If you know you will be late, please talk to the person in charge. A $20 fee will be charged for any returned checks.
School Withdrawal:
If you will be withdrawing your child from school, please give a one-month written notice. If a 30-day, written notification is not received, you will be charged for the following month’s tuition. Please understand due to a child’s circumstances, they may be dismissed from school.
Parents’ Meeting
Bi-monthly there will be a meeting to discuss your child’s development, parenting tip and upcoming events. We look forward to your participation.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Preschool opens at 9:30 am. Please park your car in the parking lot and walk your child to their classroom. In the same way, please be punctual as you pick up your child after class. If anyone other than family will be picking up your child, for the child’s protection, please let us know in writing beforehand.
Events
You may be asked to help with potluck and Mochitsuki etc. throughout the year. Please bring unopened, store-bought treats for birthday parties.
Purpose
• Teach Japanese through classroom activities & friendships.
• Promote positive social skills and manners.
• Offer a variety of activities to learn Japanese.
• Learn to read “hiragana” and numbers.
• Develop interest in Japanese Culture and nature through classroom activities.
• Deepen relationship with teachers and classmates through physical activities (outside play, gymnastics, etc.)

Nov.: Thanks Giving- Learn about Thanks giving and give thanks to the Lord.

Apr: Lean about Spring(God’s creation), Easter
May: Boy’s day(Children’s day), Mother’s day
