home made curry soup noodle ～カレーうどん～

　カレーが残ったのでカレーうどんを作ることに。
うどんはなかったので、暇だし、これも作ってしまえと。。。
意外に簡単なんですね～。
作り方はもちろんCookpadさんからですけれどね～。
形は不格好ですが、美味しかった～。
あはは。当然！自分が作ったからでしょう～～～！

Since there was left over curry, I decided to cook a curry soup noodle.
There was no noodle UDON in the house.
So I made from scratch.
It was easy to make!
I thought it was good!
Of course, because my made! haha!

mangoes ～マンゴー～

　マンゴー好きな私。
ここアメリカでは南国のフルーツも日本より安い！
今回も3個で1ドル！
今のうちたらふく食べることに。。。
あ～、マンゴープリンも作りたいけどな～～。

I like mango!
Every fruits from southern place are cheaper than in Japan.
Mangoes are the season now!
So this time was very cheap!!
That price was 3 for $ 1 !!
Sound's great for me!!!
I feel like to want to make mango pudding!!

Fish tacos ～魚のタコス～

　タイトルのままですが、お肉が魚のフライになっているタコスを食べました。
どんな感じだろうって思ってたら、意外にイケる！
さっぱりした味で美味しかったですよ。

Fried fish instead of meat inside taco bread was so good!
I was worried that taste but it didn't need to worry!
I like it!!
I like Mexican food,so I want to try real Mexican food.
Well,I wonder I should go to Mexico?! Yes,it is near here!!! haha.

a concert in the open air ～野外コンサート～

　友達が野外コンサートへ連れて行ってくれました。
しかも小さなボートからみました。
と、言ってもタダで勝手に観てるだけのような感じですが。
それでも、たくさんのボートが来ていて何かトラブルが起きてしまわないか
心配になるくらい。。。ま、大丈夫でしたが。
コンサートはJewelという人でした。
時々、コーヒーショップとかで聞く音楽かもしれません。
よくわからないけど、1、2曲聞いたことのある歌でしたよ。
この日は寒くなく（海の上だと夜は風が吹いて寒い？すごく涼しい時もあるのです。）
ちょうどよい気候で彼女の素敵な歌にうっとりしてました～。

My friend took me to a concert in the open air by the little boat.
There was Jewel's.
We could see her from the boat little.
Her song was nice,but her mc was little boring, actually I might just not able to understand English.
There were so many boats on the sea near concert hall.
I was worried about something accident around us,but it was no accident.
The most nicest was to see her from the boat on the sea!

chocolate roll ～チョコパン～

　久々にパンを作ってみました～。
パン焼き器なんてものはないので、手こねで作りましたよ。
だんだんコツがわかって来たような気がします。多分。。。

I baked a chocolate rolls.
There is no bakery machine.
So I kneaded by my hands.
I am getting the hang how to make a bread little by little,maybe,,,.

Twizzlers ～アメリカのお菓子1～

　先日、映画の『Twilight』観て思い出したの。
こっちの若者10代くらいの子たちかな?がよく赤色の長いものを食べてるの。
ずいぶん前からあるお菓子のようです。
日本でいえばチロルチョコみたいな存在かな？？
すごーく色の濃い赤だからどんな味か不思議だったのよね。
で、試したがりの私は食べてみました～。
もともとはリコリスっていうものみたい。
そういえば、スウェーデンでも丸い形のものがあって食べたことがあったなあ。
そのときはなんだか薬みたいな味だったような。
写真のはいろんな味が入っている袋。その前に買ったのはイチゴ味。
食感は、グミのようなキャラメルのような。。。
味は。。。食べたことのない味！笑。
興味のある方、お試しあれ。。。

I remembered that I often saw American teenagers eat twizzlers at a street or any place
when I saw the movie "Twilight".
It seems that candy is popular for a long time for young people in the U.S.
For Japanese people are Tirol chocolate is popular,I think.
Well,I wanted to try to eat that twizzlers, so I did!
Well,texture was like caramel or gummy, something like those.
Taste was,,,I never had it in my life.
American flavor!hahaha
It was interesting!

California Pizza Kitchen ～ピザ・レストラン～

　独立記念日の次の日にバーゲン目当てでショッピング。
Mission Valleyにある大きなモール。前回来たときにはここには来なかったことをちょいと後悔。
夜はそのモールの中にあったピザ屋さん。チェーン店のようですね。
一応、薄焼きのピザもメニューにあったので注文。
う～～～ん。私的にはもうちょっとクリスピーがよかったな～。
味は。。。ピザの味に違いがあるのかどうか、私にはわからな～～～い。←味音痴?!

My friend and I went shopping at Mission Valley.
It was a big mall.
I regretted I didn't go there last time. But it was o.k. I could go this time!
For the dinner,we went to California Pizza Kitchen.
We ordered thin crust pizza and a salad.
I prefer the pizza crust is more crispier.
The taste ,,, I cannot figure out how different pizza taste from another restaurants.
Anyway,I was full!!!

Rainier cherry ～レイニアチェリー～

　このチェリーを初めてアメリカのお店で見たとき、高いなあって思ってたの。
大抵のフルーツは日本より安いことが多いけれど、このレイニアチェリーは別な感じ。
どうやら、アメリカでも高級品に近いみたい。でも、日本みたいな扱いじゃないけど。
アメリカンチェリーも好きだけど、このレイニアチェリーはもっと好き。
今のうちにいっぱい食べておこうっと。
アメリカにいるみなさんも、食べるなら「今」ですよ～。って、もう遅いくらいですが。汗。

When I saw the rainier cherry price at the store in the U.S. at the first time,
I thought it was so more expensive than another fruits'.
It seems this cherry is high quality even in the U.S.
But this cherry is not treated nicer than like Japanese store does.
I like American cherry,but I prefer this rainier cherry.
I should eat it while I am here!!

Yoghurt cake ～ヨーグルトケーキ～

　KYの友達が出発前に「ヨーグルトケーキ作ったから食べに来て～。」
って、お誘い。朝、お邪魔することに。朝ご飯にヨーグルトケーキ！！笑。
ヨーグルトが余るとよく作るそうな。。。
しかも３個作ったらしく。何個ヨーグルト買ったんだろう？？
それはそうと、友達の作ってくれたこのケーキがとってもさっぱりしていて美味しかったので
おかわりしちゃった～。何せ、朝ご飯代わりですから！
で、美味しかったので自分でも作ってみました。
もちろんCookpadさんからね。

My friend invited my friend and me to eat a yoghurt cake before I left Lexington.
We ate it instead of the breakfast.
She usually makes that cake when a yogurt is still left.
That cake was so good!
So I asked another helping.
Yes,that was the breakfast for me!
After I back to San Diego,I made one with honey lemon apple.

Forth of July in San Diego! ～独立記念日をサンディエゴで～

　友達がボートを持っています。
なので、独立記念日のお祝いはボートの上から～。
花火が地元局のラジオから流れる音楽に合わせてあるのよ。
もちろん、アメリカの国歌も流れたのだけど～、その時にビデオが撮れなかった。残念。
やっぱりみんな歌ってた。
花火が始まるまでおしゃべりや食事したりして楽しんでましたよ。
ボートの上にグリルがあるのも素敵ですよね。
私たちのグループはボートを６隻くらい並べてだったからお隣のボートから跨いで来て、
「こんにちは～」って感じで。家にいるのと変わらない感じなのよね。面白い。

My friend has a boat.
So I could see the fireworks on the boat!
The fireworks was much on the music.
I missed to take the video when the American national song ran by the radio.
But I took another one.
Until it started,people were talking and eating. There was grill on the boat.
I think that's nice!
