今日、本部から下記のようなメールが届いていました。
今年のサンディエゴで開催されたカンフェレンスでの定例総会にて、メンバーシップの規定が、1月から12月ではなく、「支払いのあったときから一年間」に変更されたそうです。
来年度の会費をすでに支払っている会員は、今まで通り、2017年度は1月から12月の会費に充当されますが、これからの方はこの新しい規定が適応されるそうです。
たとえば、2017年2月に2017年度の会費を払った場合には、2017年2月から2018年1月までになります。
メールには、そのあとパソコンからの更新手続きの手順が付いています。
手順が判らない場合や、さらに詳しいことがお知りになりたい場合には、美穂さんまでお問い合わせください。
This letter includes important information about your membership with the Society of Decorative Painters (SDP).
Earlier this year, SDP members who attended our Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA voted yes to amend our calendar year membership cycle (January through December) to an anniversary date membership cycle (one year from your official join date). As we prepare to implement this change, we want to explain what this means for you.
If you already renewed your membership for 2017 or if we receive your renewal payment by December 31, 2016, there will be no change to your annual membership. Your membership will be valid from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, and you will enjoy all the benefits of our membership throughout the 2017 calendar year.
If you renew your membership after December 31, 2016, your annual membership will be adjusted to the date we receive your payment. For example, if we receive your renewal payment on February 1, 2017, your annual membership will be valid from February 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018.
