〈G.A.M.M.〉や〈BASIC FINGERS〉、〈HOUSE OF DISCO〉から良作を連発し、ジャズ・クロスオーヴァー、RE-EDITシーンの垣根を越えて高い評価を得ている UK出身のDJ / プロデューサー"Aroop Roy"。昨年新たに自身のレーベル "Vive La Musique"を立ち上げ 世界中の有力なレコードストアにて好調なセールスを記録。DJとしてもヨーロッパやアメリカ・アジアの主要なVenueに招待され、着実にトップDJ / アーティストとしての地位を確立させた活躍を見ると、現行クラブ / ジャズ・ソウル ・ ミュージック・シーン のキーパーソンに君臨したといっても過言ではない。 世界中を回る多忙なスケジュールの中、来日ツアーが二年ぶりに決定、 京都メトロにて、信頼関係を築いているジャズ・クロスオーヴァーを代表するイヴェント"DoitJAZZ!"サポートのもと開催される。
DJ / producer "Aroop Roy" from the UK who has a good release from <G.A.M.M.> <BASICFINGERS> <HOUSE OF DISCO> and has been highly evaluated across the boundaries of the jazz crossover and RE-EDIT scene. Last year he launched his new label "Vive La Musique" and recorded good sales at record stores around the world and As a DJ, he was invited to major venues in Europe, America and Asia, and steadily established himself as a top DJ / artist. so He reigned as a key person in the current club / jazz soul music scene. This is the first time in two years,that will be held that in Kyoto Metro with the support of Doit JAZZ!
