"ILLIT" debut song enters US Billboard's "Hot 100"! First in K-POP history

Girl group ``ILLIT'', which just debuted, entered the US Billboard main chart with their debut song ``Magnetic''.
According to US Billboard, it debuted at #91 on the latest single chart "Hot 100".

They are the first in K-POP history to chart with a debut song (debuted on March 25th of this year), and are the 7th K-POP girl group following Wonder Girls, BlackPink, TWICE, Fifty Fifty, NewJeans, and Le Sserafim. It seems to be charted in.

After listening to the song, my simple impression was that it was similar to "Fifty Fifty", who became a big hit in America, the capital of entertainment music, but disappeared after causing internal strife within their agency.
If "Fifty Fifty" is a rough stone, it gives the impression that a level of sophistication has been added to it.

However, it remains to be seen whether the sales will remain like the afterglow of the "Fifty Fifty" style, or whether they will become the top runners for K-POP girls like "New Jeans", who have increased their fan base and increased their mobility. Difficult to determine.

It seems like there is a possibility that new girls who will debut later will replace ILLIT...
In fact, following "Fifty Fifty," ILLIT and the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, which had been a difficult stronghold for many years, have become less of a barrier.

Ten years have passed since Wonder Girls entered the "Hot 100" until BlackPink entered the "Hot 100." After that, there was a short period of time before TWICE continued, and after that, the period became shorter and shorter.
I'm sure K-Pop girls' songs will continue to appear on the Hot 100 from now on.

If entering the "Hot 100" is one indicator of the future competition among K-Pop girls, the barometer of popularity and status will likely be how many songs they submit there and how many weeks they maintain it there.

As K-Pop girls have started to take over the global stage, it has become difficult to tell which are the top groups and which girls are leading the way.

Nowadays, the topic of the 5th generation of girls has started to be talked about.

Until recently, I thought that the 4th generation girls were the leading group, but now I'm starting to doubt whether they really are the leading group.

Now, can ILLIT become a regular on the "Hot 100"?
It wouldn't be surprising if ILLIT, who entered the Hot 100 in the shortest time since her debut, suddenly steals the momentum from New Jeans and replaces them at the top.
