ホワイトペーパ：RDMA over Ethernet [05/08/11]

Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) over Ethernetについて、比較的良く
まとまったホワイトペーパ(英文 20ページ)を見つけました：

"Understanding Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA)"

これを公開している Ammasso社は
　"the world’s first RDMA enabled, Gigabit Ethernet Server Adapter"
を販売していて、以下のプレスリリースにあるように Ohio Supercomputer
Center (OSC)で採用されたそうです：
　"Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) - Springfield Deploys Ammasso 1100 RDMA
　over Ethernet Adapters for Distributed Computing over Wide Area Network
　(WAN) Connections", August 9, 2005

よくよく考えたら、RDMA over Ethernetを複数拠点のクラスターを接続する
WANで採用するってかなり冒険な気がします。

実際どんな構成なのか興味を抱いて Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC)の Web

をのぞいてみたのですが、上記についての詳細はありませんでした。
