ただ見た目が気持ち悪いと言うだけで追い回されて殺されるゴキブリ君に限らず、何の意味もなく生命の終わりを迎える生物は数かぎりが無い。
意味が無いと言えば、生きてること自体何の意味もないのかもしれない。
しかし、不幸な事に人間と言う生物は、その進化の過程で意味なく生きられなくなってしまった。
そこで仕方なく無理やり生きていることに意味を待たせる職業の集団が現れた、それが宗教者。
本来何の意味も無いものに、無理やり意味を持たせるのだから、その活動や内容たるもの実にいい加減なものである。
人間の人生は百人百様、他者と同じ人生を歩む人は一人も居ない、なのに、人は他者と同一でないことを嘆く。
仕方ないので宗教は、つじつま合わせに「死後の世界」をでっち上げた。
人生の中で「どうも自分は損をしてる」と言う部分について「次の世で報われる」と言うつじつま合わせをする。
「貴方はこの世でよい事をしたので、死後の世界では天国に行ける。」と言う何の保証も無い都合の良い話を持ち出す。
ま、それだけならまだいいのだが、その「良い事」の内容として、「宗教に帰依する」を付け足す。
典型的なのは、たっぷり献金すれば死後に良いことが有る。と言う話だ。
もちろん、それを素直に信じることが出来る人は、それで心の安らぎを得るのだから問題はない。
ただ、下手な宗教はその安らぎすら奪って、不安に追い立てることによって金をとろうとする。最悪。
青少年の頃ならともかく、人生も終焉を向けようとする年代で、長き人生の中に色々な経験をしてきた人は、そんな透けて見える様な薄っぺらな安らぎは、一瞬の慰めにもならない。
さて、人生の終わり近くに「新型コロナウイルス」って言う厄介なものが出てきて、それこそ理不尽に人生の最後が狂ってしまうと言うのは、理不尽にもほどがある。
ある介護施設で、自分の死期についてアンケートを取ったら、８０％ぐらいの人が、「もう充分生きたのでいつ死んでもいい」と答えていたそうだ。
ところが、今回のコロナ騒ぎが起きて、「コロナに感染して死ぬのはどうか？」と聞いたら、半分以上が「コロナでは死にたくない」って答えたとか。
人間死ぬのに何で死ぬかなんて問題じゃない、とは言えないようだ。
老後すこしでも楽しく生きようと、若いころからコツコツと貯金して、さて海外旅行にでも・・・と思ったら、コロナで何処へも行けない、海外どころか国内も移動自粛要請。
夜の街、パチンコはおろか、趣味の会や音楽演芸の楽しみもなくなった。
ただ巣ごもりして命を長らえるだけの人生の終焉は何と理不尽な事か・・・。
神の奇跡を唱える某宗教も、「コロナに勝てる神は居ない」と集会を短縮し、ラインだリモートだと人間のはかない英知に頼る体たらく、何と嘆かわしいものだ。
むむ。小説「豚失格」を読んでいるような錯覚に陥りました。

スエーデンでは日々の生活からコロナが抜け落ちているのだとか。

人口1億2千万人の日本では死者が1000人の手前ですが、まだ騒いでいます。
日本ではテレビによる経済テロが進行中だということです。
その日本は高齢化率が世界一(26.7%)で、スウェーデンは3位(19.9%)です。2位はイタリアで22.4%。(2019年8月)
日本は2位以下を引き離すことになるでしょう。
