A Detail Introduction Of New Traveo™ MCU Product

2017-07-03 16:00:21 | 日記

Cypress Semiconductor today announced that its new product from the Traveo ™ family of automotive microcontrollers (MCUs) has been sampling to provide secure, high-speed networking for classic dashboard systems. The new MCU family supports the controller's local area network flexible data rate (CAN FD) standard for in-vehicle high-speed networking, allowing mass data to be exchanged between each CAN node. The enhanced security hardware extension (eSHE) support for this series prevents communication with unauthorized electronic control units (ECUs) to protect data from in-vehicle networks. The new MCU family offers more advanced system features, premium sound and graphics, and can drive up to six traditional mechanical instruments, further strengthening the Cypress's leading Traveo series of market coverage.

"Our latest 40nm MCU further expands the industry-leading Traveo dashboard product platform," said Takeshi Fuse, senior vice president, Cypress Automotive. "Simple images from popular cars show our 3D color images for luxury models Show the supply of MCU, the new product line for car manufacturers to provide more choices. The new series for the classic instrument panel applications provide a cost-effective program, with high performance and advanced features, including CAN FD and eSHE standard support to meet the car Market demand for high - speed, high - security in - car networking capabilities.

The new Traveo S6J336xx and S6J337xx series use Cypress's 40nm embedded charge capture (eCT ™) flash memory technology to further improve product performance and reliability. The MCU family is based on the ARM® Cortex®-R5 132-Mhz processor, which integrates 2MB of high-density embedded flash memory for application storage and provides support for 4-bit 32-segment LCD interfaces for basic LCD Display screen. The interface supports up to 480x240 pixel thin film transistor (TFT) displays and is equipped with a sequencer that simplifies instrument display control for displaying simple vehicle conditions such as tire pressure or door opening. In addition, the partial wake-up mode enables the MCU to perform some functions while the kernel is in sleep mode, only when the kernel is awakened to achieve minimum system power consumption. The MCU series also supports on-chip mixing, eliminating the need for an external mixing IC. Cypress offers manufacturers a wide range of product options to make it easy to develop derivative solutions.

The new Traveo MCU also includes the S6J351Cx series designed for body electronics applications. The MCU family also uses Cypress's 40nm eCT flash memory technology, integrated ARM Cortex-R5 132-Mhz processor and 2MB for storage storage for high-density embedded flash memory. It is same with how to use 74hc595 and how to test ds18b20.

The Traveo S6J336xx, S6J337xx and S6J351Cx series are sampling now and are expected to be available in volume production in the first quarter of 2018. The MCU family will offer 144-pin or 176-pin thermal enhanced quad flat package (TEQFP) mode, and more packaging is under development.

Cypress works with a number of leading automotive manufacturers around the world to bring advanced models of luxury models into popular models, including advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), 3D graphics displays, wireless connectivity, full-featured touch screens and advanced body electronic system. Cypress's automotive portfolio includes the Traveo ™ MCU family, power management IC (PMIC) products, PSoC® programmable system-on-chip solutions, CapSense® capacitive sensing solutions, TrueTouch® touchscreen, NOR flash, F-RAM ™ With SRAM storage and USB, Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth connectivity solutions.
