KARA: "It's been my dream to perform at the Red and White Song Battle since my Japanese debut."

KARA participated in the press conference announcing the performers of the 62nd Red and White Song Battle, held at 4pm on the 30th at the NHK Hall in Shibuya.

The press conference was held for the seven teams that were performing at the Red and White Song Battle for the first time, and KARA members Gyuri, Hara, and Nicole participated, excluding Seungyeon and Jiyeon, who had to record for a show.

On that day, Gyuri commented, "I'm happy to be performing for the first time. I was at work when I got a phone call and was very surprised. It was my dream to perform at the Red and White Song Battle while debuting as a singer in Japan. The five of us will work together to prepare for the performance."

Mana Ashida, who will be performing with KARA on this year's Kohaku Uta Gassen, was asked, "I heard you're a fan of KARA. Do you have plans to dance with them on Kohaku Uta Gassen?" to which she replied, "I'd be happy if that opportunity arose," and Gyuri also replied, "I hope we can stand on stage together."

When asked to look back on the past year and look ahead to next year, Hara replied, "This year has been a happy one.
Next year will be busy too. I hope that many people in Japan will be cheered up by listening to KARA's songs."

Kohaku Uta Gassen is held every year on New Year's Eve at the NHK Hall in Shibuya and broadcast on NHK.
It is a traditional program featuring the most representative singers of the year, and in the 1960s it recorded a viewership rating of 80%. It is still a representative New Year's Eve program in Japan, recording a high viewership rating of 40%.

In the commemorative photo of the first-time performers, members of KARA are standing behind Mana Ashida. It's almost in the center.

There are probably many other things, but the seductive dance of "Mister" by Ashida Mana and KARA should have enough punch to halve the fighting spirit of the men of the White Team.

KARA will probably sing either "Go Go Summer" or "Winter Magic," their hit songs from this summer onwards, and if they do the "Mister" butt-shaking performance that excited the whole of Japan last year, they will miss out.

However, the performance of this song is one of the things I would love to see on the Kohaku stage.

Ashida Mana once performed this, and it was really cute, like a little girl.
With so many people watching, I think it would be a shame not to show it.

Let's leave the fun-filled projects to Ashida Mana and KARA, and let Girls' Generation focus on performing their own songs.

Girls' Generation's performance at the Singapore Mnet Asian Music Awards was amazing again.

I watched the boys' performance, and the original version was only in the middle, but the rest of the song and dance reminded me of a completely different music.

However, although the tempo was fast, it was definitely the boys.

I felt that this music was not just a one-off, but was carefully crafted with diversity based on a grand composition.

When asked about the reason for creating the stage concept for "The Paws" and her thoughts on it, Taeyeon answered as follows.

"While preparing for the album in the US, we wanted to show more diversity with the song "The Paws". We created the song so that it would be even more fun if we tried to create various colors. We released the original version while promoting, and it was fun for us to be able to show such a unique stage."

It seems that the boys will have many different dance versions prepared in the future, and they will appear according to the various stages. It will be exciting for those who go to the concert venue.

After the MAMA stage, leader Taeyeon answered about the future.

"I think they can continue their Asia tour and continue their concerts.

I think they can show a new side of themselves by preparing something a little different. I want to go beyond the Asia tour and realize a world tour. I want to meet more people."

I suddenly think that "The Boys" may have been written with Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" as a goal.

I think there is something missing in this song for it to become like that.

But I'm sure they will eventually prepare a song like a female version of "Sorry Sorry."

The current situation is enough, but if it is born, their world tour will be a great success.

Let's enjoy their Kohaku stage as a pre-party.

Now, which song will they sing?

There are many candidates, including "Bad Girl," "Mr. Taxi," and "Gee."

The song I want them to sing at Kohaku is "Bad Girl."

I don't know any other song that sounds so seductive and cool when sung by women.

I want to hear this song at Kohaku to welcome the new year.
