Thornbury Women's Neighbourhood House Event

Thornbury Women's Neighbourhood House is organising a
Japanese fundraising event as below. It is a great opportunity for students of
Japanese to explore a variety of Japanese cultural activities.
This is a fundraising event and all the funds generated will be donated through
Red Cross Japan to support victims of earthquake/tsunami.

DATE: Sunday 3rd April 2011
TIME: 10 am - 2 pm
ADDRESS: 99 Leinster Grove, Thornbury (Melway 30 D5)
EVENT: Japanese Earthquake Fundraiser - Family Friendly Market

CONTENTS:
1) Wadaiko Rindo (Drums) and Fuefukuro (Flute) performance starting at 12 pm.
2) Chi Energy Massage and Reiki
3) Kids Entertainment
4) Eco-friendly Origami Workshop
5) Create your personal message to send to the children affected by
earthquake/tunami in Japan
6) Family friendly cultural activities - balloons, calligraphy, and more
7) Craft and second hand items stalls including Japanese clothes
8) Foods and refreshments.
