On Friday 1 April, St. Pius X Primary School held a charity day called 'Pray for Japan Day'. Firstly, the whole school held a mass to pray for the disaster victims in Japan in the morning. Students learned the earthquake and tsunami disaster by watching videos. The students also made Origami cranes with senior students' assistance during class. Those cranes were assembled and became a beautiful tapestry which is now displayed at the school entrance. They raised $350 on the day. Well done!
