On 25th of November,
I took our babies to the sight hound gatherings
but on the way there,
I stopped by the Parking area on the highway
where we can have some space for our doggies to run freely.
11月25日、
兵庫でのサイトハウンドのオフ会に
我らのべいべ～達を連れて行ってきました。
でもその前に
その道中にある加西のSAにあるドッグランで
まずはプレオフ．．．
Fortunately, my friend was also stopping by at the same time
and we let our doggies to play
幸運にもシャディンママに会って
みんな一緒に遊ばせることになりました
See?!
Emma and Bartimaeus were so happy to get out of the stuffy car
to get a fresh air.
エマとバーティミアスは
狭い車から出られてとっても嬉しそう！
Then...
そこへ．．．
My friend's shy guy came in~
パロちゃん登場～
I don't know why but both Bartimaeus and Emma was so afraid of this Afgan Hound, Mr. Paroma...
Bartimaeus was trying to say,
"Go away! Don't hurt me~!
"
バーティもエマもなぜかパロちゃんが怖かったみたい．．．
バーティミアス、腰が引けて
「あっちへ行ってよ～！ぼくをいじめないで～！」
って言ってるみたいです．．．
Mr. Paroma was now very interested in Bartimaeus
But Bartimaeus had to escape from him!
シャイなパロちゃんも文句を言ってるバーティに興味が出てきたみたい
でもバーティ．．．逃げる！
Bartimaeus: "GO AWAY~
Don't follow me~
"
バーティミアス： ”くるなよ～～ こっちへこないで～～～っ」
Chasing Mr. Paroma, having a little fun!
See, Bartimaeus needed to learn the concept of socialization
among other dogs.
So, it was quite fun watching their chase, actually.
(See? Even Duke was having fun watching them.)
追うパロちゃん、なんだか楽しそう！
バーティミアスは社会化訓練が必要～！ってことで
この「逃げる・追う」の図、私達は楽しんで見てしまいました。
（デュークまでもが横目でやりとりを見て楽しんでいるみたいでしょ？）

Emma's reaction was the same as Bartimaeus...
She needed to learn how to greet with her new acquaintance.
ねっ？
エマもバーティミアスと全く同じ反応．．．
ま、エマもはじめて会う犬達との挨拶の仕方を学ばないといけないからね。
Viola knew Mr. Paroma because he was there when she was born
But I guess she had forgotten about him...
Well, in any case, Viola didn't have any problem playing with anyone
and having fun with him as she always does.
ヴァイオラはパロちゃんを知っているはず。
なんせ、生後数ヶ月はパロちゃんが側にいたもんね。
でも．．．長いこと会ってなかったから忘れてたかも．．．
まぁ、どっちにしても
ヴァイオラは誰とでも仲良く遊べるので全く問題なし。
Lovely to see their having fun together.
楽しく（激しく？！）遊んでます。
By the way, it was quite interesting to see the greeting of these two...
First, I and my friend were a bit worried about their reaction, you know...
ところで、このお二方の反応が意外や意外、
めっちゃ面白かったんですよ。
最初は私もシャディンママもちょっぴり心配してたんですが．．．
You see, Mr. Paroma was over shy and might get a bit aggressive
and Duke didn't like an aggressive guy...
So might have been a scene but...
なんせ、パロちゃんはオーバーシャイで臆病な所があるけど
それが攻撃性になるときがあるって言ってたし、
デュークは攻撃的な雄は嫌い．．．
もしかしたら激しい場面があるかなと思ってたんだけど．．．
でも実際はね．．．
Duke somehow loves Mr.Paroma and trying to approach him...
You can see from his tail's position, right?!
And after all, he seemed to get his attention, too!
デュークはパロちゃんに求愛．．．
デュークの尻尾の位置でわかるでしょ～？！
おまけにパロちゃんもまんざらではなかった模様！
なんだか愛が生まれたようでした
Well...
after all,
I thought we were able to have a good practice for all of our doggies
before the big gathering of sight hound.
ま、とにかく
オフ会前の挨拶練習としては
みんなで楽しく良くできたな～ってところでした。
Um... maybe not for them...
They were terrified and couldn't move for a while like this...
あ．．．
彼らにとっては良くなかったかも．．．
恐怖のためにこの状態でしばらく固まってましたからね～．．．
Well, at least they finally understood the concept of greeting to a new dog,
I guess...
ま、少なくともエマもバーティミアスも
初めて会う犬の挨拶の仕方は学んだでしょう．．．
たぶんね．．．
These days,
our puppies learned how to escape from our front yard...
このごろのぱぴ～達の流行は
逃亡して勝手にお散歩．．．
Emma was almost going out there in the morning...
今朝はエマが．．．
And Bartimaeus was almost going out in the evening...
そして夕方はバーティミアスが．．．
Of course, they are at that age, you know.
They want to do anything that is forbidden!
もちろん、そういうお年頃ですよ。
ダメだって言われてることは何でもしたがるね．．．！
Now, Baby Jane is still a good girl, you see?!
さてさて、ベイビィジェーンはとっても良い子ですよ～！

ん～と．．．

もしかしたら、これからかも．．．
One night,
when I looked behind,
I found this...
夜、
ふと後ろを見ると
これを見つけた．．．
Oh my Bartimaeus,
you take my breath away...
あぁ、愛しのバーティミアス、
この魅力には負けてしまったわ．．．
It was so sudden that I realized
today is the 20th of November!
That means, our puppies became 5 months old!!!
なんだかあっという間に11月20日！
ということは、
我らのぱぴ～ず、なんと今日で生後5ヶ月です！！！
Bartimaeus was 24.0 kg tonight
and Emma was 20.4 kg.
今日の夜に計った体重によると
バーティミアスは２４．０キロで
エマは２０．４キロ。
Barty is getting so big~
バーティミアス、めちゃめちゃでかくなってます～
Now, since he's so big and so smart,
he can have his free time while we are taking a walk.
さてさて、
大きくなってとっても賢くなってるバーティ、
このごろはお散歩の時にフリータイムを与えてもらえるようになりました。
Bartimaeus won't run off without his leash,
so safely I can let him follow his daddy.
バーティミアスはリーシュなしでも
ダッシュして逃亡をはかることはほとんどありません。
だから安心してデュークパパと一緒に歩かすことができるんですよ。
Well...
But Emma cannot be trusted without leash...
She has her history of dashing off
and once she was completely lost for almost half an hour!
So she has to be on leash...
でもエマは．．．
逃亡生活約20分くらいの前科あり．．．
だから簡単にはリーシュからはなすことはできません．．．
You see?!
Bartimaeus is quite trust worthy even that far!
バーティミアスはす～っごく遠くまで行っても大丈夫！
He came to me without any hesitation when I call his name~.
His coming back rate is almost 100%, you know.
バーティミアスの呼び戻しはほとんど１００％で完璧に近い
名前を呼ぶと、どんなときでも喜んできてくれるんですよ～
But the thing is,
Emma also has to practice how to listen to our command all the time
in any kind of situations!
So when I have a human company for our walky,
we set Emma free for her practice.
バーティは完璧だけど
エマもがんばって練習する必要はあるんです！
だからお散歩にもう一人人間がいるときは
エマも限られた場所で呼び戻し練習～
Emma is getting a good idea to get a nice treat
if she comes when she's called here or there.
あっちとこっちでエマの呼び合い～
エマも美味しいおやつがもらえるのが分かったら
急いであっちへこっちへとやってきます。
Bartimaeus is trying to get as much treats as Emma!
エマの練習中はバーティミアスも同じだけ走って
エマと同じだけおやつをもらおうと必死！
And as you can see...
it's not only Bartimaeus who accompanies Emma...
そして見ても分かるように
バーティミアスだけがエマと一緒にがんばって走っているわけではありません．．．
Oh yes...
Our lovely adult doggies were quite helpful for Emma!
They definitely want to get their share, you know.
大人の犬達も
自分達の分け前をもらおうと必死～
In any case,
Emma is getting better for calling her back
and soon enough,
she will be a perfect girl without leash.
なにはともあれ
エマの呼び戻しの確率は高くなってきてます！
そしてリーシュなしでも完璧になるまでに
そんなに時間はかからないでしょう！
By the way,
our Sebastian is getting better these days
even he wants not only to walk but also to run and play!
余談ですが、
我がセバスティアン、
だんだんと調子が良くなってきてます！
お散歩で歩くだけじゃ物足りなくて
走ったり遊んだりするようになりました。
Cool air is working good for all of my doggies, I guess!
さむ～い季節は犬達にはもってこい！
セバスティアンにも良い影響なのかな！ 我が家で産まれた仔犬達のオーナー様へ
今日は20日でフィラリアのお薬を飲ます日です。

At Baby Jane's personal field,

they became a good friend after all, I guess
ちょっぴり仲良くなれたかな
I haven't weigh them for a little while
but yesterday
when I got a call from Carl's owner
she told me Carl's weight was over 22 kg!
So I checked our puppies' weight!
長いこと仔犬達の体重を計ってなかったのですが
カールのママとお話してたときに
カールの体重は２２キロを超えていると聞いてびっくり
我が家の子達の体重も計ってみることにしました！
Bartimaeus's weight was 22.6 kg.
バーティミアスの体重は２２．６キロ。
Emma's was 19.4 kg.
エマのは１９．４キロでした。
Surprisingly...
Hmm, naturally I guess...
there's huge difference between female and male
驚いたことに．．．
あ、いや自然なことだろうけど．．．
オスとメスの差がかなり出てきました
By the way,
when their daddy Duke was about 5 months old,
his weight was about 23 kg.
And their mommy Jill's weight around that time
was 19 kg.
So, I guess their size is almost the same.
ちなみに．．．
彼らのパパ、デュークの生後５ヶ月弱の体重は２３キロくらい。
彼らのママ、ジルの同じ頃の体重は１９キロ。
同じくらいのサイズになりそうです
Surprisingly...
驚いたことに．．．
Bartimaeus is getting so close the size to Viola already
ふと見ると、
バーティミアスったらヴァイオラと変わらない大きさに見える
ようになってきてますよ
Emma's weight is lighter but
somehow Emma has longer legs!
エマの体重はかなり軽いけど
エマの足はかなり長い
I'm hoping Emma can be the biggest female among my Borzois.
我が家のメスの中では
エマが一番大きくなってくれるかなぁ
Now, Baby Jane's face is getting longer.
By the way, her weight became 19.1 kg now~.
さて、ベイビィジェーンのお顔、長くなってきましたね。
そしてベイビィジェーンの体重は

Like his papa, Duke, Nathaniel is becoming more and more handsome!

長い間走り回って遊びました。

Baby Jane did have such fun
and she didn't want that to end...
When the time came for us to leave,
Baby Jane did complain,
it was too soon,
she didn't want us to leave...
そんなこんなで
あっという間に時間は過ぎたわけですが
ベイビィにとってはこんなに楽しかったのは久しぶり。
この楽しみが終わって欲しくないようでした。
帰らなければならない時間になって
帰ろうとしていると
ベイビィがうにゃうにゃと文句を．．．！
まだまだ時間はたっぷりあるよって．．．
帰って欲しくないって．．．
Well, we promised her
that we would come to see her again soon
and next time,
we can play at the sea shore!
Then we had to go home.
でも、またすぐに会いに来る事を約束して
次は浜辺で遊ぼうねって約束して
名残惜しいけど帰途についたのでした。
On monday the 29th of October,
we went to see Baby Jane at Shimane Prefecture.
10月29日の月曜日、
島根までベイビィジェーンに会いに行ってきました！
See, I took my mother, my sister Sayo,
and her mommy Jill, and her siblings Emma and Bartimaeus.
島根に同行したのは
我が母上、妹のＳａｙｏ、ベイビィの母親のジル、
それからベイビィの兄姉のエマとバーティミアス。
Baby Jane was extremely happy to see us
and she welcomed us with zest
とにかく到着した瞬間から
ベイビィの喜びようは半端じゃぁなかった
Baby was so eager to welcome all of us THOROUGHLY...
とにかく、全員に対しての歓迎に全く余念がなく．．．
She took her enormous time to greet with us all!
一人一人、一匹一匹に熱烈キスで大歓迎をしてくれました
You see, Baby Jane didn't have her friends of her size and her age,
so it was her treat I guess to see her siblings.
And here, you can see the proof
that they are definitely sisters.
ベイビィには同じサイズで同じ年頃の遊び友達が近くにいないんです。
だから兄弟姉妹に会えて一緒に遊べるというのは幸せこの上ないんでしょうね
ほら、姉妹であるという証明をしたかったのか．．．

And with her mommy,
she wanted to prove mother and daughter...

Within a year,
they would look exactly the same
1年以内には
この2匹は全くのそっくりさんになってるでしょうね
See? Only their size is different.
ねっ？ 今はサイズだけが違うでしょう！
