♪♪　ロシア漫遊記１５

ウラジオストクからの11時間のシベリア鉄道旅の終着駅はハバロフスク。後で確認してみるとだいたい大阪ー仙台くらいの距離らしい。　
　スーツケースを持ち上げてエッチラオッチラ階段を登り（こっちの駅ってエスカレーターもエレベーターもないんす）駅前に出るとウラジオストクの空港のように "Mr. KAI" と書かれたボードを持ってるホテルの迎えが... いない。　えっ？　どんだけ探してもおらん。　ふんとにもぉ。　
　ホテルに電話かけても言葉が通じないだろうから、ここは自力でバス。　こんなこともあろうかと事前に調べとったんです。バス番号 " 1l (イチ・エル）" 　もしくは " 34" を探すも　" 1n (イチ・エヌ）”ばっかり来たんでちょいと不安になったけど、ほどなくして34番バスがやってきて無事乗車。　あとで調べたらロシアで使ってるキリル文字では英語のエル" l " は "л” （微妙に英語の n とは違います）と表記するらしいんで、見過ごしてたあのバスたちはどれに乗っても良かったんだ。　勉強になりました。
　っで、これがバス車内の様子。
運転手の横に座ってる女性が運賃おばさん。　乗客が乗ってきたら次のバス停に停まるまでの間に全員から運賃回収しやるの。　みんなバラバラに座るのに見る限り回収漏れなし。すんごい記憶力持った人しかできない仕事やね。

< Day 4 in Russia>
Arrived at Khabarovsk after 11hr Siberia Express ride from Vladivostok. Supposed to be a hotel staff waiting for us at the station, but couldn't find anyone from the hotel. Well, let's take a bus. I knew advance research was important and had information about the bus numbers we should take.
Bus # 1l ( 1L ) and #34 were the ones. .
Waiting for " 1l " but all we saw was # 1n buses .
20min later, finally #34 bus showed up.
*** FYI : I didn't know that English letter " l (L) " is translated to " л" in Russian. ( can you see the difference between " л" and "n" ?) So buses with the number " 1n " were actually " 1 л＝1 l " buses and they were the right onnes for us.***
A lady sitting next to the driver's seat in the picture is a " fare collect woman" She collects fares from anyone getting on board. She must be great at remembering.

その夜やりたかったこと。はい、シベリア鉄道に乗ること。　名前は結構前から知ってて一度乗車してみたかったのさ。　ウラジオストクからモスクワまで続いてるけどさすがに１週間の列車生活はキツイので今回は１泊のみ。　これがね、時間通りに運行されてるのがちょいと驚き。昔インドで６時間だか８時間だか遅れの鉄道に乗ったことあるんで、ロシアもそれに近いと思ってた。　食事もおいしかったし快適。　ただ11時間の旅はちょっと短かったかな？　睡眠時間省いたら実質4時間くらいだし。　あと2~3時間、外の景色を楽しみたかったなぁ。

What I wanted to do that night was taking Siberia Express that I'd been knowing the name for years. Being too long to take if from Vladivostok to Moscow, we just did one night stay instead. Kinda surprise that it was punctual. Thought it might be same as the one I took in India that delayed 6 ~ 8 hours. Only one thing I wanna mention was 11hr stay in the train was a bit short. Considering sleeping hours, it was actually a 4hr ride. Wishing we had been enjoying seeing the outside for at least 2~ 3hrs more. .

♪♪　ロシア漫遊記１３

革命戦士広場で長州力の銅像探したあとは、ある意味ウラジオストクで一番行きたかった潜水艦博物館へ。今までアメリカとオーストラリアのには乗ったことあるんで、すっかり潜水艦マニア。　残念なことに入り口近くの艦後部は改装して博物館になってたけど、艦前部は潜水艦のまんまだった。　ウシ！満足。
　今晩は今回のロシア旅行で一番楽しみにしてた場所に行きます、というか楽しみにしてたことをします。　ムフ♡

Vladivostok submarine museum was the place I wanted to visit during this trip. This was the third submarine I've ever got on after US and Australian. Unfortunately, the part close to the entrance was renovated as a museum. But the front half was not. Good.
We were going to do something special in the night.
What ? Wait until next report.

この日はウラジオストクで一番有名と思われるグム百貨店（写真）へ。　フムフム、1階がZara で2階が、あっ、ちっちゃい店が5～6店あった。っで、3階が... なーんもない。って、これ、百貨店じゃなくてZara やんZara。まぁ、そんなに大っきな街じゃないから、こんなもんか。
　そのあとは、百貨店の目の前にある革命戦士広場へ。　
長州力の銅像はやっぱりありませんでした。

Here's the most famous department store in the city, Gum.
1st floor was Zara, 2nd floor 5~6 tiny stores, 3rd floor... nothing.
OK, it was not really a department store, it was ZARA.
