日本将棋連盟の記録のページには、今期の成績に入っていないので、先月に行われたものと推定。豊島は２月２６日から４連勝で連勝継続中となっており、豊島の勝ちと思われる。

Dice-K stretched out in relief outing
WASHINGTON -- Daisuke Matsuzaka pitched for the second time this spring on Saturday, giving up one run on two hits in four innings as the Red Sox beat the Nats, 6-1. Manager Terry Francona said Boston wanted to stretch out the right-hander.

Upper back problems slowed Matsuzaka in the first part of Spring Training, and it appears he'll be starting the season on the disabled list. Francona said Matsuzaka will stay with the team for about a week before pitching at the Triple-A level.

Matsuzaka is big on using a routine before starting the game, but things were different Saturday, because he came on in the fifth inning in relief of starter Tim Wakefield. He's never appeared in relief during a regular-season game.

"I think it was hard for him when he first started because his routine was kind of interrupted; he didn't do the long toss and everything like that," said Francona. "I thought as he got into the innings, you could see him start to feel a little bit better."

Matsuzaka said that he wasn't perfect, but liked that he got the job done. The right-hander struck out one and walked three, with two double plays helping his cause.

"I wasn't necessarily at my best out there today, but I was reminded how tough a job those relievers have," he said through interpreter Masa Hoshimo. "Today, even though I felt I wasn't necessarily pitching at my best, I was still able to get outs and figure my way around hitters, and that was a good thing."
