明治維新を学ぶということは
同じことを対象に
同じことを
くりかえすことではない。
時代が変われば
対象も考え方も変わっていく。
今の中国や韓国は
戦後日本や先進国に多くのことを学び
急激に改革していった。
また、
「ＯＤＡ」に頼っていたのは
昨日のことではなかったのか？
しかし、
一旦一定の水準に到達すると
手のひらを返すように
７０年も昔のことを言い立て
領土問題しかり
人権問題しかり
報復的言動を始めた。
そういうものではないだろうと
声を大にして言いたいものだ。
明治維新の頃は
国家の維新は
国家存亡の危機から
国民と国家を救い出すためであった。
ロシアの急速な南下政策、
西欧の帝国主義的・
植民地主義政策の餌食から
救い出すことであった。
その為には
どうしても
科学・文化の大きな遅れは
取り戻さねば
いかんともしがたいものが
あったのだ。
その当時（１８００年代）の
東洋の大国中国のあっけなさ
（アヘン戦争・植民地戦争）は
日本人にとっては驚異であった。
日本の有能な青年たちは
その時見えていない先（未来）が
見えてきたのだ。
先を争って
西欧やアメリカに渡ろうとした。
単身で黒船に
忍び込もうとした青年もいたそうだ。
気持ちだけでは、
また
鎖国時代の科学知識・武器では、
このちっぽけな
国民と国家を守ることができないと
悟ったからだ。
「虎穴にいらずんば虎児を得ず」。
という故事があるが
そんな単純な意味ではない。
今の時代には
それを超えた意味が含まれている。
中国や韓国はそこにとどまっているし、
当然、
それにかかわっているわが祖国日本も
そこに関わらわざるを得ないという
ジレンマに陥っているのだ。
わが祖国の憲法は
ワイマール憲法以来の
もっともすぐれた憲法を
持っているといわれてきた。
今その憲法が
強欲な人間たちのために
損なわれようとしているのだ。
過去のドイツのファシスト、
ネオナチに損なわれたように。
その当時のドイツとわが国は同じではない。
ドイツは「報復主義」と大ドイツ主義が生まれ、
優れた人々が圧殺されていった。
今日本では
崇高な憲法を守ろうとするがゆえに
強欲の人々に耐え難い屈辱を
与えられようとしている。
また、
それに悪乗りをして
国内からも
海外までも侵そうとする人々が
跋扈し始めている。
先ず、
安保条約の目的を遂行する上で
アメリカ合衆国の憲法・国策と
戦後の日本国憲法では
根本から違っている。
日本は海外にまで出かけて行って
他国と交戦することを
完全に拒否しているのだ。
アメリカはそうではない。
そこに集団自衛権を
結びつけることそのものが
土台無理な話なのだ。
元々専守防衛（自衛権）を前提として、
アメリカ合衆国との協定が
安保条約であり
それ以上の何物でもない。
日本は戦後最大の危機に
自らとびこみ兼ねない危機に瀕している。
私たちは
経済主義的野心と拡張主義、
領土的野心と拡張主義
を双方とも正しく見極めていくことが
今後求められていくだろう。
中國や韓国は内面的攘夷（日本は仮想敵？）から
物理的拡張主義に移ろうとしているのでは？
日本が犯した第一次・第二次大戦の愚を
再び犯そうとしているのか？
