やはりより高いグレードの CPU が必要と言うこと
じゃ、マイクロソフト公表の「システム要件」がどう変わったかと言うと
プロセッサに関しては「1 GHz 以上」と以前と変わらず

うーん、「Windows 7 が動作するのと同じハードウェアで問題なく動作します。」ねぇ
今回引っかかっているのは、インストールの過程
インストールできれば「Windows 8 Release Preview」自体は
問題なく動作するんだろう。。。（苦笑
この変更によって引っかかるユーザーも少なくないようで、ググるといろいろヒットする

やはり、このPCにも BIOS 設定に「Physical Address Extension (PAE), NX, and SSE2」の設定項目は無い
かといって古いPC故 BIOS のアップデートも期待できない
「Windows 7 が動作するのと同じハードウェアで問題なく動作します。」と言われても

、特設会場にて販売、特設会場の入場料5万円
みたいな感じで、テンション一気に下降
このPCの性能だと、メトロアプリがまともに動作しないんで
システム要件はあえて変更せずに、インストールプログラムで
ハイグレードな CPU 性能を要求し、ふるいにかけたのかなぁ
