Thanxgiving Movie、先週観た映画; ハリポタ、脱線、ウォークザライン

I saw 3 movies Thanksgiving Holiday; Harry Potter, Derailed, and Walk the Line.

How many Harry Potter movies so far? I lost counts and hardly remember the stories.
This type of movie should be awesome if you could get into the Harry Potter's world.
For example, some people don't really like Star Wars because they couldn't accept the space ship and robots moving around the screen. Well, I could accept Star Wars..but Harry,,,, Potter?, Oh, give me a break. I couldn't accept Harry takes a broom and fly away. First of all, I believe the power of force but not Magic.(what's the difference though)
Anyway, the movie is good for kids, book readers, and movie company. What's the hell wizard championships?
I need the evil wizard, Voldemort! come on! yeah,welcome back!, and.....well, movie is finished. No more?

The New York Time's best reader's choice(?), now back to the screen.
Clive Owen was a loser at the beginning. I understand that his daughter has diabite and need machinery aids.
His life should be stressful. Then having affair with Jennifer Aniston? good, go ahead loser.
well, it was trapped. Bad people behind this women. I wouldn't even pay single penny if I were him who has ability to fight back
against evil guy, Vincent Cassel(where is Monica?). Just do it from the beginning, man

Have you ever heard a famous country singer (is he?), Jonny Cash? Sorry, I have not...
I though this movie was biography of Elvis Presley.. If you have seen the movie, Ray, Jamie Fox played.
That's exactly what the story is. Do all musician have to take a drug? otherwise there is no story?
Well, the story is typical but believe or not, Joaquin Phoenix & Reese Witherspoon were actually singing.
That's amazing, isn't it? this movie was better than I expected. Will either one of actors be Oscar Nominee?

サンクスギビングの連休に映画を観に行ってきました。まあ他にやる事ないだけなんだけね。ハリポタ、脱線、それとウォークザラインです。

まずハリポタですが、一体これは何作目なんでしょうか？忘れた。
この手の映画はハリポタワールドに入れるかどうかなんですよねぇ
スターウォーズが好きじゃない人は宇宙船やロボットが出てきただけで
観る気なくすそうですし。　個人的にはスターウォーズは受け入る事が
できたけどハリポタは、、、だってホウキで空を飛ぶなんてねぇ今時。。
フォースと魔法の違いだけなんですけどね。
まあ本を読んでいる人や、子供、映画会社にとってはいい映画なのでしょう。
しっかし魔法使い選手権？なんてどーでもいいから悪役ボルディモアは
どーなったんだ？出てきた、やっとか！と思ったら映画終わりじゃん。

で、脱線(Derailed)、いやな単語です仕事柄。。
なにやらニューヨークタイムスのベストリーダーズチョイスに
選ばれた話らしいです（ほんまかいな）
主人公のクライブオーウェンはヘタレです、まあ娘が糖尿病で機械のヘルプが
必要な子でストレスたまりやすい環境ですが、不倫をジェニファーアニストンと
始めようとしてしまいす。が、世の中そんなにうまい話があるわけない。
くわしくは言いませんがバックに悪者がいます。バンサンカッセルです。
モニカベルッチという美人の奥さんがいるにもかかわらず映画の中では
悪者です。クライブ君も逆襲する勇気があるなら何故最初からやらないんでしょうか？追い詰められる前に最初っから反撃しろよ、と言いたいです。
映画自体はまあまあかな。。

3つ目はジョニーキャッシュという実在の歌手のお話です。
この人最近死にましたね、2年くらい前かな？
実は私は知らなくて、てっきりプレスリーの映画と思ってました。
昨年オスカーを取った"レイ”というジェイミーフォックスが演じた
映画がありましたが、それとほとんど内容が一緒です。
ミュージシャンはドラッグなしでは物語として成り立たないのか？
この映画はいいですね、悪くないですよ。主演の２人がいいね
ホアキンフェニックスとリーズウィザースプーンですが吹き替え無しで
歌ってます。なかなかです。これはオスカーにノミネートされるかあ？？

Saturday Night Fever サタデーナイトフィーバー

John Travolta plays Tony Manero, a Brooklyn paint store clerk who'd give anything to break out of his dead-end existence. In life, Tony is a peasant; on the disco dance floor, he's a king. As the soundtrack plays one Bee Gees hit after another (including "Stayin' Alive"), we watch white-suited Tony strut his stuff amidst flashing lights and sweaty, undulating bodies.

I just watched on TV yesterday. it plays many times though.
John Travolta looks totally different appearance from the present time.
I will be like him after 20 years later? scary..

ご存知サタデーナイトフィーバーです。改めて観なおしてみるとすごいですね、
７０年代のセンスというのでしょうか。しっかしトラボルタは今と全然違う
人間だな、私も２０年後くらいにはあそこまで変わってしまうのでしょうか？

Grey's Anatomy グレイの解剖（超直訳）

A hospital drama that focuses on Meredith Grey, who's part of a group of first-year surgical interns at a hospital in Seattle. The daughter of a famous surgeon, Meredith struggles to maintain relationships with her fellow interns while at the same time competing with them.(yahoo.com)

this plays every Sunday night on ABC. I actually don't see this program though, it looks like ER. I've only seen ER & Chicago Hope(a few episodes) this kind of drama. TV watcher, Oshiri san, please explain what this is. I can see some interns who work in hospital from the above show description.... by the way, the main character, Meredith Grey is the one who played movie, Old School? I found a couple of actors who also plays some movies.

これはメレディスグレイという一人の新人インターンに焦点をあて、彼女が働くシアトルの病院でのドラマである。どうやら彼女は有名な外科ドクターの娘であるらしいが、同僚のインターン達との関係や競争に奮闘中だそうだ。。

これは日曜日の夜にやっているドラマです。正直言ってじっくり見たことないのでよくわかりません。見た感じERやシカゴホープのような感じですが。。テレビ人間のおしりさん、説明よろしく。インターン達が病院で働いてるしかわからん。。
主人公の女性はオールドスクールにでてた人っぽいですね？
何人か映画に出ている人たちも混じってますな。

マイケル君１８歳がミシガンにあるヒルズデイルという小さなタウンの市長になりました、しかも現職市長と僅差での勝利だそうな。日本でも報道されているでしょうけど、彼は学校が終わり次第に市長としての仕事をするそうな。。
彼いわく３時から６時までを仕事時間とするそうです。町の経済を再活性化しなければならないとコメントしております。どう思いますこれ？

Derailed 脱線？？

I saw the train in preview but I don't think it is really derailed.

Clive Owen is sexy guy though..

キングアーサーのクライブオーウェンとフレンズのジェニファーアニストン共演、今週末公開の映画です。Derailedを直訳すると脱線なのかな？仕事柄たま～に聞く単語ですが、主人公は勝ち組のチャーリーが朝セクスィーで魅力的な女性に出会いますが、これをきっかけに理由はわからんが危険な状況に陥っていくという事らしい。チャーリーは彼の家族をすくわねば！と言っているからヤバイんでしょう。
予告編には確かに電車は移ってたけど、まさか本当に脱線じゃねーだろうな？

個人的にはフレンズ嫌いの私なのでジェニファーアニストンもそんなに好きじゃあないので観たくありませんが、オシリさんのリクエストです。
クライブオーウェンはいい男だとは思いますが。

Jarheads & Saw II 先週観た映画 ： ジャーヘッド＆ソウ２

SAW II ; Jigsaw is back, back again. Eight strangers with unaware of their connection to each other, forced to play out a game.

It was less surprised ending than the first one. Jigsaw was there from the beginning of the movie that made me less interesting. it's just a lot of bloody scene. I wasn't scared at all.

Jarhead ; Anthony Swoff, a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering stint in boot camp to active duty, sporting a sniper's rifle and a hundred-pound ruck on his back through Middle East deserts with no cover from intolerable heat or from Iraqi soldiers, always potentially just over the next horizon.(yahoo.com)

There's no battle scene in this movie. This is a drama, do not expect this like a movie, Rambo. Chris Cooper played just few minutes. you may know how the Gulf War was ended in 90s'.. it was actually finised as is.

日本でも公開中（？）のソウ２とジャーヘッドを観て来ました。
ソウ２は前回の悪人、ジグソーが最初っからいきなり登場！血のシーンがキモいだけであんまし怖くなかったです。最後は前作ほどびっくりエンディングじゃなかったし、犯人は以外だったが一部のトリックは途中でわかってしまった。。でもそれでもそれなりに楽しめる映画だとは思います。

新作”ジャーヘッド”（彼らU.S.マリーン自身がつけたニックネームだそうで）は90年の湾岸戦争を舞台にした戦争映画と思いきや、イラク兵との戦闘シーンはナシなのでランボーのような映画を期待しちゃあいけません。
オスカー俳優、クリスクーパーはほんの数分しか出てないけど、この戦争がどのように終わったかがわかる映画となっております。実際あっけなく終わった事を記憶している人もおおいでしょう。監督はアメリカンビューティーのこちらもオスカー監督（だっけ？）なので変に笑える所も多いので個人的には好きですね。

鳥インフルエンザ Bird Flu

Bird Flu!! Are you scary?? I will be scared when someone close to me gets this disease. I know there are many places that you can get vaccination with only cost around $10. Oshiri san went to one place but too many old people were waiting for a long line. State Gov. will announce to stay home?? give me a break. Are you guys pay my bills instead? We've got to work, man!I remember when gasoline prices went up over $3/gallon, a President Bush said that please stay home. I wanna say that you also try not to take Air Force One. you stay home and watch football game with Pretzel.
Be careful, don't be unconscious.

鳥インフルエンザです、こちらでも脅威となっており毎日のように関連ニュースが
報道されています。各州ともいろいろな対策を講じる予定であるようです。
雪の日のように家にいろとかいっていますが、仕事もしないで家にいられるもの
なら居たいです。ガソリンが高騰した時もブッシュ君がなるべく家にいて下さい
とか言ってましたが、お前もエアフォースワン乗るのも控えて家でアメフト見ながらプリッツェルでも食ってろ！と言いたかったです。

ちなみに近くの病院などで10ドルくらいから予防注射が打てるそうですが
話によるとコミコミで年寄りばっかしで並ぶだけでも大変なそうな。。

Serenity 宇宙船セレニティ Well...you can't

This is the feature film version of the TV series "Firefly"
Captain Malcolm Reynolds (Mal) lives with small crime and transport aboard his ship, Serenity.
When Mal picked a young doctor and his psycho sister who are fugitives from the coalition dominating the universe, he gets much more than he bargained for. I did not know anything about this movie until it actually played in theater.
It is from well-know TV series Firefly that I just googled actually.. I assume that Captain Mal's action & attitude derived from Han solo in the movie Star Wars Han solo, while space ship "Serenity" brought from "Millenium falcon". Both are natural leader and outlaw in the universe which is attractive character to the viewers.

You may be disappointed if you expect this movie as Star Wars like.

少し古い映画なのですが、セレニティという映画です。
これは一言でいうとスターウォーズのハン・ソロをモデルにして作った映画
のような気がします。船長マルコムにはアウトローな乗組員が数人いるところが
違いますが（ハンソロは犬のみ）どこの権力にも属さず、犯罪に関わるような
荷物や乗客を扱っているところなど似ていると思いますが。
しかしオリジナルのTVファンの為の映画のような気もします
どちらかというとスタートレック系の映画なのでスターウォーズみたいと
思ってみるとガッカリするので気をつけましょう。

Halloween ハロウィーン

Halloween is celebrated on the night of Oct 31st. Children dress in costumes and going door-to-door collecting candy.

where is this coming from? well, I don't know. I'm not Merican.
I just heard the story that the spirits rise from the dead world. Food was left on the doors in order to attract them. The Celts (one of the races in Euro) wore masks to scare off the evil spirits.

I prepared for that kids kept coming & said "Trick or Treat".
First visitors were "Flash kids" with his father who wore "skelton" when I was smoking outside.
Next, a group of kids was coming & kept ringing the bell. I did not answer anymore because I just wore
Pooh Bear underware. I didn't wanna show myself to the inocent kids although that was kinda my hallowen costume.
one kid scared of me. after I closed the door, he rang the bell again & said "I didn't get any!! fuckin' jap!
I though he was robbing something from me...

昨日はハロウィーンでした
ご存知のとおり子供がお化けやスーパーヒーローに仮装し、ドアからドアへ
キャンディーをもらう為に訪ねまくるというやつです。
もともとヨーロッパ、とくにアイルランド、英国あたり、つまりキリスト教系の
人たちがアメリカに持ち込み今のようになったらしいのですが、無宗教の私たち
にとっては単なる一つのイベントです。それでもドアに訪ねてくる子供たちを
みるとかわいいですね。

私が昨夜最初に見たのはフラッシュマンの子供とガイコツの格好をした父子でした。その後、徒党を組んだガキんちょどもが立て続けにベルをならし、しまいには
もらい損ねた男の子が脅すように”俺はもらってねーぞ、（ボケ！）”
といわれてしまいました。　どっちにしろこれは子供たちの為のイベントですね
隣の会社でもオバハンが蜂の格好をして仕事してましたが、、。
