２歳のお誕生日おめでとう～～～！
Happy happy birthday to all Emma and Lavi's babies!
２歳ということは
もうみんな立派な大人への仲間入り～☆
They are now properly grown to their adulthood and became 2 years old!
でもやはり今日は
ちょうど２年前の産まれたばかりのみんなの姿を少しばかりここに
Oh well, as always
I have to show you how tiny they were when they were just born exactly 2 years ago!
みんな素敵なお誕生日が過ごせたかな～
これからもみんな幸せに過ごせますように
I wonder if all of you are having a great birthday with your family!
But most importantly,
having your life full of happiness with your family no matter what.
なんと8年ぶりに親友に会うために
東京へ行ってきました
もちろん、700km以上もの旅を一人で運転するわけにもいかず
新幹線で行ったので家からのお供はおらず．．．
Well, after such a long time... yeah of 8 years,
my best friend came to Japan from US on her business
and so I went to Tokyo to see her!
Well, since I couldn't drive over 700km by myself,
I took the super express train and so I couldn't take anyone with me...
でも、東京にはデュークとヴァイオラの子供の第７子のリオ（もとレオナルド）が住んでいます
なので、会ってきました～
Well, you see in Tokyo,
the 7th boy of Duke and Viola's babies lives there!
So I managed to see him before I came back home.
東京は暑かった．．．
夕方6時でしたが、リオにとってはまだまだ猛暑
暑すぎて歩くのはとぼとぼでしたが
気持ちの良い公園を一緒にお散歩
Oh it was tooo hot in Tokyo...
We met around 6 in the afternoon but still it was too hot for Lio!
Gosh, he could walk only slowly but still we were able to enjoy a little walk in the huge park together.
体高はかなり高くなってましたが、リオは都会的で少し細め
体重は30キロ前後といった感じでしたが、筋肉はしっかりついていて綺麗でしたよ
性格はデュークとヴァイオラを足して2で割ったような感じ？！
話を聞いていると
陽気なところはヴァイオラそっくり、
でもご飯の食べ方とかはデュークにそっくり！
Well, he's getting taller in his height but
I guess he's the city boy and a bit thin I thought.
Not that he's too thin and no muscles, though. He's got muscles all right.
Anyway his charactor was interesting!
Lio seems to be the charactor of Duke and Viola added together and divided by 2!
His optimistic fun charactor was based on Viola
but how he eats seemed totally the same as his father Duke!
本当はもっと沢山の写真も撮りたかったし
もっとたくさん一緒に過ごして話もしたかったんですが．．．
夕方だし、暗くて写真がいまいち撮れなかったし、
最終新幹線に間に合わなくなったら困るということで
近場の駅まで一緒に歩いて送ってもらい
仕方なくお別れして帰途についたのでした☆
ま、家族会などでまた会えるでしょう～
Anyway, we didn't have much time to talk a lot you know...
It was getting dark and I couldn't take many pictures of him...
And since I had to go home by the last train which departed soon,
we walked to the nearest station together and had to say goodbye...
Oh well, he will come and visit us sometime soon, I guess.
And probably join us in the family gathering later this year!
今日はデュークとジルの子達の４歳のお誕生日
みんな健康で４歳を迎えることができて嬉しい限りです
みんな４歳のお誕生日、おめでとう～
We are having lots of birthdays this months!
Today, Duke and Jill's babies became 4 years old!
There are lots of incidents here and there but today
all of them can become 4 years old in good health!
So Happy birthday to you all~!

もうすっかり大きくなった子供達ですが
今も昔もやっぱり変わらず

Well, they are all grown up for sure but
I guess they are still like those in a sense...

デュークとヴァイオラの子供達、
今日は一歳のお誕生日

一年前の今日．．．
産まれたばかりの姿をなんとか引っ張り出してきたので

ものすご～～～くちっちゃくって可愛いかったんですよ
Today's the birthday of Duke and Viola's babies!

Gosh, time past so quickly and I cannot even imagine they are here for a whole year already!

You know, they are already a year old...
and yet still only a year old...
I do hope that they are in good health and be happy,
and so
they can bring a lot of happiness to their families!

ナサニエルのことで急遽大阪へ～
Well, I had to go to Osaka to take care of Nathaniel thing...
でも外で集まるのは暑すぎ
ということで
またまたひっろ～いウィリアム＆ヘンリー家に集合
But it was too hot outside and deadly for Borzois,
so again got together at William and Henry's house
coz their house is the biggest!
我が家からは誰も連れて行けなかったけれど
エースとルナが来てくれました
エース、ナサニエルが水を飲んでいるのでお行儀良く待ってます．．．
Since I couldn't plan ahead of time,
only Ace and Luna came to see us!
Anyway, here Ace was waiting Nathaniel to finish his drinking water patiently...
おっ、ようやく終わったと思ったら．．．
And finally Nathaniel finished.... was his thought, right?!
横からルナが割り込み～～～
ルナ、エース兄に対しては強気のようです
Oops, Luna found her way in and Ace had to wait again!
Oh well, Luna is the baby sister of Ace now.
So that's OK, right?!
暑くてあまり活動的でないウィリアムとヘンリー．．．
Too hot to move or play...
Well, this is William and Henry's house, so no wonder they were relaxing!
ボルゾイ達にとって暑さは大敵～
とにかく、涼しいところでエネルギー発散を抑えてます
You know, for Borzois, the heat is the greatest enermy!
SO, they were all trying to preserve their energy at the coolest point they can find!
あ、でも甘えん坊の子達は少々暑くてもママと一緒が良いようで
Oh but you know Borzois are also so dependant on their moms...
So if it wasn't toooooo hot for them,
they prefer to stay with their moms.
ナサニエル．．．
ラッキーママがナサママになってくれることになりました
兄弟のラッキーと一緒に暮らすので賑やかになるかな～？？？
Well, from now on,
Lucky's mom becomes Nathaniel's mom!
Well, at least Nathaniel will be with his brother Lucky,
so everything will be all right in the end, I believe.
なが～～～～～～～い間、ほったらかしにしていましたが．．．
やっとブログを書く気になってきました
が、こちらは仔犬達の日記．．．
ジョシュアもトレニアももうそろそろ１歳．．．

ぼくの名前はジョシュア☆
ぼくとトレニアの毎日の目標は
Chieママに悟られずに如何に「外」へ逃げ出すか！なんだ
Chieママは、いつもはChieママのお母さんと一緒に厳しい監視の目を光らせているんだけど
それでもChieママのお母さんがいなくてChieママが一人の時はぼくたちのチャンスはある
もちろん、Chieママのお母さんだけの時は
外へ逃げ出せる確立は１００％なんだけどね
これは１ヶ月前（３月９日）にものすご～～～～～～く遠くまで遊びに行って
Chieママがぼくのお父さん達も連れて迎えにきてくれた時のことだよ！
ぼくは朝から良い子を振舞ってチャンスを狙ってた！
ぼくたちが走っているとChieママは嬉しそうにして
一生懸命黒いものを持ってカシャカシャやってるんだけど
その時がチャ～ンス
手前にあるネットを蹴破って抜け出せたんだ～
この日はぼくたちの知らないところまでどんどん行って、すっかり楽しんでいたら
Chieママがデュークパパ達み～んなと一緒に迎えに来てくれたよ
ぼくたちは良い子だから、呼ばれたらちゃ～んとChieママのところへ行く
そしたらぼくの大好きなものをくれるんだよ
ぼくはまだもう少し《外》で遊びたかったんだけど
Chieママがもうダメだってぼくとトレニアを一緒にしちゃった．．．
Chieママは「１ヶ月前からず～っとぼくたちとの《知恵比べ》だ」って文句言ってるけど
でもぼくが「ごめんなさい
」したら
すぐに許してくれるんだ
ぼくとトレニア、今日も上手く逃げ出せたんだけど
今日はChieママはいつものようには迎えに来てくれなかったから
ぼくもトレニアも自分で帰ってきたんだけど
Chieママはものすごく怒ってて、ぼくもトレニアもすごく怒られた．．．
ぼくの嫌いな「お風呂
」もされたし
ぼくたちきちんと自分で帰ってきたんだけどなぁ～．．．
今日は、ぼくの「ごめんなさい」がChieママに効かないんだ．．．
ぼくが寝て起きた頃にはChieママの怒りがおさまっていますように．．．
朝起きると、薄っすらと雪が積もってました．．．
When I woke up in the morning,
thin carpet of snow was there today...!
暖かくなってきたと思っていたんですけどね～
Hmm, it was getting warmer these days but back to the cold again...
さて、ここのところ毎日逃亡を繰り返しているジョシュアとトレニア、
今日も昼からやってくれました．．．
You know, both Joshua and Torenia seemed to enjoy their great escape
and making their great escape everyday...
And oh yeah, they did it again this afternoon...
少し肌寒いですが、空気が澄んでいて綺麗な午後．．．
ジョシュアとトレニアがいる場所もなんとなく分かったので
あわてず騒がずにお迎えに．．．
It was a bit chilly but the air was so clear and beautiful afternoon,
and somehow I knew the kids whereabout,
so I didn't make fuss and just went to fetch them...
ほらね
呼んだら嬉しそうに駆け寄ってきました
See?!
When I called their names, they came running to me ever so quickly!
もちろん、自由にしていたらまたどこへ行くか信用ならないので
すぐにお縄頂戴
Well, they cannot be trusted at all if I let them go freely
so without loosing much moment,
they were on leash!
ジョシュア： 「あ～、あっちのほうが楽しそうなんだけどな～」
Joshua: "Looky look! I believe that place must be fun!"
Chie: 「ダメ！」
Chie: "Oh, NO!"
でも、前日には捕獲したすぐ後にすぐに２回目の逃亡を果たしたジョシュアとトレニア．．．
また２回の逃亡をされても嫌なので、大人達も連れてお散歩となりました
But oh well, kids did their second escape the previous day
and I knew they would try again...
SO, we went for a walk with all adults.
もちろん、お散歩から帰って来ても信用できないジョシュアとトレニア
Well, surely you don't think I trust Joshua and Torenia
even after coming back from our walky, right?!
はい、ジョシュアとトレニア相互拘束作戦です
Oh yes, I put them in the mutual restraining program!
おや、なんだか息が合ってる双子ちゃん
Oh dear... I guess they know each other only too well?!
いやいや、もちろん最初から意気投合というわけにはいきません
Surely not... not at first of course.
が、結構上手に二人三脚ができてるジョシュアとトレニア．．．
But I guess they are quite good at doing their synchronized movement...!
やっぱり、２回目の逃亡計画を立てているジョシュア
I knew it! Joshua was thinking of getting away again!
ここで駆け上がろうとしたジョシュアでしたが
トレニアにつながれているので失敗
See?! Joshua had attempted to make his escape up there
but since they were in the mutual restrained program,
he failed...
それでもあきらめないジョシュア
Even then, Joshu seemed not given up yet...
でも、今日のところはとりあえず２回目逃亡はあきらめてくれたようです
Well, after all, he finally gave up the second escape for today...
ジョシュア： 「今日は二人三脚の練習なんだ．．．」
Joshua: "Well, I guess I should practice our movement today."
う～む．．．
ジョシュアとトレニア相互拘束作戦も
そんなに長くは持たないかな．．．
Umm...
Maybe their mutual restrained program won't last long to restrain their escape...
今日は朝からと～っても良いお天気
そして．．．
It's quite a fine day today
and we were expecting someone...
ジョシュア： 「まだか．．．？！」
Joshua: "Hmm, not yet...?!"
トレニア： 「まだ来ない？？？」
Torenia: "Not coming yet???"
そして待つ事数時間．．．
And waiting for about a couple of hours...
来た来た～～～
HE'S COME!!!
は～い、アールが遊びに来てくれました～
Yes, Earl has come to visit us today~!
まずは兄弟姉妹で２週間ぶりの再会を喜ぶ図
First, only his siblings were allowed to greet him!
ジョシュアもアールもトレニアも大喜び
Surely, as we all expected, all kids were soooo full of joy to see each other again!
そして、子供達だけで挨拶が終わった後は
大人達も
もちろん．．．
And after kids had a bit of fun by themselves,
adults came out!
Well, as you can expect it...
大人達の厳しいチェックを受けるアール．．．
Earl had to be checked thoroughly by his parents and others...
デュークパパには絶対服従～
Well, nobody can challenge the strongest Duke... as yet...
ヴァイオラ母もまだまだチェック
Hmm, Viola seemed to wanna check him again?!
アール： 「パパ、ヘルプ・ヘルプ
」
Earl: "Dad, back me up...!"
アール、大人達からの入念なチェックを受けてお疲れモード．．．
ちょっと休憩中～
Earl had to take a bit of rest after being checked by adults...
そして休憩後はまた兄弟妹達でしっかり午後の運動
すっかり疲れたアール君、
一番に家の中に入ってゆっくりくつろぎたいと主張していたくらいで
室内に入るともうぐっすり
これは、家に帰った後もぐっすり眠っていることかな～？？？
But after his rest, regained his energy back and had his afternoon exercise with his siblings
and others as long as they wanted!
Well, Earl got tired first and said he wanted to go inside!
So, after more than a few hours of exercise,
he instantly fell asleep after going indoor...
Hmm, I believe Earl is sleeping soundly tonight at home... maybe???
ここ数日、お天気が悪かった為に
外で自由に思いっきり走り回れなかった子供達☆
でも、今日の夕方はなんとかグラウンドも乾いていたようなので
泥んこにならずに走れるかな？？？
と思ってみんなを自由に♪
We've had a couple of rainy days
and my kids couldn't run freely as much as they wanted.
But today the ground got dried a bit
and I thought they could run without getting their muddy feet, so I let them!
とにかく、みんなのはしゃぎようときたら．．．
You can see how exciting they were, right?!
少し休憩したら、また
They took a bit of rest and then again!
ジョシュアとトレニアの弾けようったら
見ていてもこちらの心が躍りだすくらい
でも．．．
When I watched Joshua and Torenia running and dashing ever so joyfully,
even my heart started to sing and dance!
BUT...
はい．．．
超興奮しすぎた子供達は
またもや強化された逃亡防止柵を蹴倒して脱走
今回はジョシュアとトレニアは仲良く逃げ出し、
目の前の道路をそろって下に駆け下り始めました
そこへ大型トラックが
もちろん、子供達はトラックが来ている時だけ
横に上手に避けて車が通り過ぎるのを待ち、
私が走って追いかけてきているのを横目でちらっと見た後は
また下へダッシュ
私はというと、山のくだり道をダッシュ
田んぼに入り、仲良くなにやら食べようとしているところを捕まえ
ガクガクする足をようやく引きずりながら帰ってきたのでした
Oh yeah...
Super exciting kids knew how to break the fence to run away!
This time, both Joshua and Torenia got away together
and started to run down the mountain road in front of our house...
But then suddenly the huge truck came upward on the road!!!
I was sooo worried but both kids together were smarter, then...
They stepped aside while the huge truck was passing by
and when they saw me running toward them to catch,
they started to dash off again downward...
Oh dear... how cunning they were!!!
Anyway, they stopped a bit here and there and surely they were faster than me
but they had a lot of interest in everything.
So after all, they wanted to eat something in the field and then and there I caught them all right.
帰って来て一段落ついたら、お天気雪
寒いはずですわ．．．
After I dragged them home with my heavy feet after strenuous running of the mountain road,
it started to snow...
No wonder I felt chilly body and soul...
昨日の予報からすれば
今日の夜から雨
との事でしたが
ここは山．．．昼頃から降るかもと思って
雨が降り始めるまでみんな外～
I thought it might start to rain in the afternoon
and so I've decided to let them stay outside until the actual shower started...
でも、なんだか雨なんて降るような気配は全くないほど良いお天気
But it was such a fine day and seemed there's no cloud at all for the rain...!
暑いくらいの気温ですが、トレニアとジョシュアはすこぶる元気
It was a bit hot even to us humans but that didn't make any differece to Torenia and Joshua!
ジョシュアがバーティと同じくらいの体高になっているのが分かります？？？
Oh can you see how Joshua grew to the height of Bartimaeus already?!
トレニアは女の子なんですが、キリリとハンサム
You know, Torenia is a girl but her face looks more like "handsome" than "cute."
今日は３歳組のエマとバーティも、トレニアとジョシュアに負けじとがんばってましたよ
Somehow, Emma and Bartimaeus of 3 years old siblings were as active as Torenia and Joshua, the kids today!
でも、見ていて面白いのは子供組かな～
But fun watching was the kids combo, you see?!
暴れた後はのどが渇く．．．
After their extensive exercise, they got thirsty...
トレニア： 「なによ、この上から落ちてくる水は．．．」
Torenia: "What's this water coming down disturbingly!?"
トレニア： 「えいぃっ」
Torenia: "Gocha!"
トレニア、食べようとしていたんですが、不器用で流れている水は上手く食べられませんでした
Hmm, seemed Torenia was a bit clumsy and couldn't eat those trickling water...
さて、雨が降る前にせっかく乾いている落ち葉などを集めておこうと一生懸命作業していると．．．
Now, I thought I should gather those fallen leaves in the back yard before the rain
and I didn't pay much attention to my kids...
でっかい穴を掘って泥だらけになって遊んでいた子供達が．．．
Kids digged a great hole and having fun with the dirt all over them!
そして、またまた超エキサイティング
And then they got so excited and ran ran ran!
ジョシュア： 「楽しいことといえば！！！」
Joshua : "You see, the most fun part is, you know what!"
逃亡～～～～～
ESCAPE~~~~
すでに目測はつけていたらしく
迷わずに私の目の前で柵の間から簡単にジャンプして脱走
Joshua had checked where to escape already
and he didn't even think before making his great escape right before my eyes!
置いていかれたトレニアも
って、車が来ているではないですか～～～
Torenia was trying to escape, too?!
OH NO....! The CAR is coming!!!
ジョシュア～～
道路に出てたら危ない~~
Joshua~! Don't stay on the road !!!
いやぁ、山道でも暴走車は結構います。
軽トラが一番飛ばしてたりするんですが、今日は冷や汗でました
まぁ、ジョシュアは大きくて目立つので、軽トラは止まってくれましたが
ジョシュアを無事に確保した後は
逃亡防止柵の強化をしたのは言うまでもありません．．．
Well, we are in the mountain and the road is usally deserted.
But then when some cars running, it might go faster and without watching much...
Well... I was so worried when I saw a car coming and Joshua went up on the road
but fortunately Joshua is big enough to notice and it stopped before hitting him...
You can imagine how worried I was, right?!
Well, after we've got Joshua safely, you know how I had to work so hard to repair the damaged fence
where Joshua made his great escape...
知恵比べ、まだまだ続く．．．
I guess our battle of intelligence is still on...
今朝の我が地方、
霧に包まれて幻想的
This morning was smoky around my place
and kind of dreamy atmosphere in the air.
なので私の朝食は外で
ジョシュアが私の朝食を狙ってますが．．．
もちろん、もらえず
So, I've decided to have my breakfast outside!
Which Joshua was trying to get
though he couldn't anyway.
私のご飯がもらえないと分かると
早速トレニアと朝の運動
When he knew it was impossible to get MY breakfast,
he's decided to have some morning exercise with Torenia!
こうやって見るととてもよく分かるんですが
トレニアとジョシュアの体重差はなんと１０㌔もあるんです
ジョシュアは３３キロ以上、トレニアは２３キロとちょっと．．．
When you see this photo, you may realize how their size totally different!
See, their weight difference is now about 10 kg!!!
一番軽いトレニアが一番駿足ではあるんですけどね
Oh well, the lightest weight Torenia is the fastest of them all, anyway.

ここのところ、
我が家にいるボルゾイの数が急激に減ったような気がするので．．．
なんだか物足りない感じがしていると．．．
We've been decreasing the number of Borzois in our household
and seemed a bit dull and too small a group...
ん？？？
LOOK?!
ジョシュア： 「カールお兄ちゃんが遊びに来てくれたんだよ」
Joshua: "SEE?! For our great joy, Carl bro came to visit us today!!"
さすがは異母兄妹弟、なんとなく似ています
Well, they are actually siblings with different mother
and quite a resemblance, you see?
カールとの兄姉のエマとバーティミアスは、
毛色が違うのでぱっと見た目には兄姉弟には見えない？？？
Well, the actual brother and sister of Carl are Emma and Bartimaeus
but since their coat color is quite different,
they don't look like bro and sis, I guess... maybe???
そして、気が合って一緒に遊んでいたのは
同カラーチーム
And even getting along well with fun seemed the same coat color team!
カール、幼心に返ったような感じ
Hmm, Carl went back in time and became a kid again with other kids?!
トレニア： 「カールのパパ、なにしてんの～
」
Torenia: "Daddy of Carl, what you doin'???"
やはり、子供達と一緒にいるというのは
若返るってことなのかな～
SO, I believe
to be with kids means we are all becoming young again!
