Released by Columbia Pictures in 2008,

this film starring Dennis Quaid and directed by Pete Travis

is a telling of an assassination attempt of the President of the United States

as is told and re-told from eight different perspectives.

I saw posters of this movie plastered around Roppongi last year

and was not really excited.

But I watched it on DVD today (or rather last night)

and believe me, this is damn well made.

Dennis Quaid leads an ensemble cast that creates the vibe and excitement

that 24 used to have.
