The Fillmore (San Francisco)
Doors: 8:00 | Show: 9:00 pm
Hyde, the lead singer for L’Arc~en~Ciel (one of Japan's biggest rock bands)
wrapped up his first US tour promoting his latest solo album "FAITH"
(released 6/27 through Tofu records) with an energetic concert at San Francisco's historic Fillmore.
The Los Angeles based band, Black List Club, opened up at 9PM
with a strong 30 minutes set that got the crowd warmed up.
Hyde came on at 10PM and played for 1hr and 40min.
I only knew two songs from their set list but the sound and energy
from the band was mesmerizing. And what a voice that little guy has!
The only drawback was that I was constantly distracted by Hyde's stage staff
flashing beams into the audience they suspected of taking pictures.
Man, they were annoying!
