Beautiful stay for wedding party
I booked all rooms at the stonehurst b for my bridal party for the night before the wedding and the night of for the bridesmaids to stay with their significant others it could not have been any more perfect.The ladies were all blown away by the character and elegance of the home and had fun choosing their rooms with all of the Evening Dresses:http://www.dvhs.co.uk/ gorgeous decor and a bathroom for everyone!Deb and rich greeted us when we arrived(Even through we were quite late to arrive after a busy day of rehearsals and dinner).They were so sweet and welcoming and made us instantly feel at home.Every last detail was taken care of from lovely waffle bathrobes to full use of the house and property.We sat outside and enjoyed the evening on the deck and in the hot tub.In the morning we had a beautiful breakfast prepared to allow for everyone to eat and get ready at their leisure and were provided with lots of oj for our champagne mimosas such a sweet touch from deb: )We had our hairstylist come in the am and she was welcomed as well with plenty of room to work her magic.I cannot say enough about how accommodating deb and rich were from pulling out a steamer for me to use on my wedding dress to allowing for our family and friends to congregate in the b the morning of the wedding for family photos, to allowing us the use of their fridges for my wedding cake and bridesmaids bouquets, i was so fortunate to have stumbled across their b and to have selected such a perfect place to stay on such an important day.My friends all remarked on the delicious breakfast they were served on sunday morning and what a great stay they had.They all wanted to stay and live with deb and rich they joked when it was time to leave.Thank you both for providing us with the perfect accommodations for our nearest and dearest friends.We will be booking a return trip for sure!Robyn ben scott
The stonehurst owners, deb and rich are friendly and personable, yet professional.They were attentive when they needed to be, yet respectful of our privacy.The house is well appointed, with a variety of rooms all tastfully decorated and immaculate.The outdoor space is very inviting with a beautiful pool and hot tub.The gardens are spectacular.I would highly recommend the stonehurst to anyone, singles, couples, or a group.We were nine ladies and each and every one of us truly loved this b you deb and richcorinne cooper
Three couples, dear friends of many years' duration, just celebrated our annual reunionthis year choosing stonehurst b in picturesque fergus.Deb and rich are superb hostsfriendly, knowledgeable, attentive and gracious.The home and gardens are immaculate, beautifully designed and maintained, welcoming and comfortable.Breakfasts both mornings were generous, healthy and delicious.We were refreshed by afternoon swims in the inground pool, and lounged in the hot tub before drifting off to sleep in our very comfortable beds.In other words, our stay was sheer perfection.We do not hesitate in highly recommending this delightful b and its wonderful hosts.
