正念場の戦いはまだまだ続く(TWICE)

The music video (MV) for the song "What is Love?" by Korean girl group TWICE has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. This means that TWICE has achieved a huge record of surpassing 100 million views for the 8th consecutive time since their debut.

The MV for "What is Love?", the title track of TWICE's 5th mini album, released at 6 pm on the 9th of last month, surpassed 100 million views at around midnight today (16th), about 36 days and 6 hours after its release.

Since its release, the MV has surpassed 20 million, 30 million, 40 million, and 50 million views in the shortest time in the history of K-POP girl groups, and it has been predicted that it will reach 100 million views for the 8th consecutive time.

After the song was released, it swept the real-time, daily, and weekly charts of various online music sites, winning four titles on the Gaon Chart. It also won 12 titles on music program charts, proving its supreme popularity.

The momentum of the number of plays faded in the second half. However, the result was that it easily surpassed 100 million.

The clicks were probably inconsistent because the stage activities were not only for "What is Love?" but also for other songs.

Either way, for TWICE at this point, the 100 million figure was merely the bare minimum goal.

TWICE is soon to perform in Japan as part of their second tour, "TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park."

Starting with a Seoul performance from May 18th to 20th (Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, Songpa-gu, Seoul), they will then move to Japan,
performing at Saitama Super Arena on May 26th and 27th, and Osaka-jo Hall on June 2nd and 3rd.

The performance will be more than twice as large as last time, and many fans will be watching TWICE's stage performance from far away seats.

They may feel lonely now that they have gone to a high and far away place without anyone noticing.

But that depends on how you look at it.

In return, they have grown a lot, deepening both their skills and their charm. They have grown into stars who entertain their fans greatly.

Many of the other girls have struggled to make it big. Considering that, these girls have finally been able to stand on such a glorious stage. Even if their emotions are mixed, they should be happy.

Once the Osaka-jo Hall performance is over, they will surely accelerate their activities for their summer comeback.

BTS is about to open an incredibly big door.
TWICE's crucial battle is still on. They cannot afford to let their guard down.
