7. Should Japan play a bigger role in international affairs?

I think Japan should play a bigger role in international affairs.
There are a number of reasons why I think that way.
First of all, Japan overcame many pollution problems on the way of economic growth after World War II. For example, when Japan had air pollution problem especially in big cities like Tokyo and Osaka, Japanese motor companies began to manufacture less emission vehicles and now we see hybrid cars and electric cars on the market. So it is beneficial that if Japan invites people from developing countries and teaches them how to cope with the pollution problem while continuing development of economic growth. Secondly, Japan can be a mediator between Christians and Muslims because both of them are intolerant against each other and Japanese has more tolerant attitude toward other religions. As far as I know, Japan is a Buddhist country and Buddhism emphasizes on what you think and what you do rather than what you believe. This way of thinking alleviates hatred between Christians and Muslims.
For these reasons Japan can play a crucial role in international societies.
