PTFE Lined Pipe and Fittings

Use PTFE lined piping in any application where superior chemical resistance is required. Compared to other plastic pipe lining, PTFE has been proven to reduce permeation rates by up to 60%. It is also far more resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, and it features a full vacuum rating up to 450°F.

PTFE lined pipe provides unmatched chemical resistance at temperatures to 260ºC. Because its carbon chains are completely fluoronated, PTFE is chemically inert to the following broad range of commercial chemicals:

• All acids including hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, sulphuric and aqua regia
• Chlorides - organic and inorganic
• Sulphates - organic and inorganic
• Bleach solutions
• Solvents
• Phenols
• Caustics
• Peroxides

Combined with the chemical inertness of PTFE are its usual non stick properties. Thus a PTFE lined pipe system eliminates and/or minimises build up of deposits on the pipe walls, which otherwise would reduce flow and possibly affect processing operations.

Extrusion PTFE Rod has a wide range of practicable temperature from -180C~+260C and a wax-like surface to which anything hardly sticks. Extrusion Teflon rod has the lowest coefficient of friction of all known solid materials. Extrusion Teflon bar has the best electrical properties of all plastic.
