これは当ブログの全米チャート2006年08月26日付R&Bチャートコラムでも書いたとおり、ショーン・ポールの曲にゲスト参加したナンバーです。
Sean Paulのアルバム『The Trinity - 最強版』(2006年6月21日国内盤発売)には入らず、サウンドトラック『Step Up』(2006年9月20日国内盤発売)のみに収められていた新バージョンなので、同サントラを持ってないファンとしてはうれしいセレクトと言えるでしょうか。アメリカ盤未収録です。

Diddyさんの曲、そのまんまですよね。アメリカ盤にも入ってます。
こうして収録曲を見てみると、確かに1stアルバムを新規国内盤で発売する意義は薄いかもしれません。ほとんどベストアルバムですよ…。
個人的にはスウィートな(10)「Heaven Sent」大プッシュですが、曲の終わりが(11)「Same Thing (Interlude)」のイントロ部分と大幅に重なってるためオンエア要注意。ラジオエディット作ってくれませんかねぇ??

正規プロモ盤かどうか微妙なのですが、自家製CD-Rコピーじゃないみたいです。
オリジナルがポップなだけに、(10)「Passengerz Club Mix」と(11)「Grooveduds Club Mix」が秀逸ですね。何度も両者を聞き比べてみるとやっぱり(10)「Passengerz Club Mix」のほうが薄い感じですかねぇ…。そんなワケで今週は(11)「Grooveduds Club Mix」に一票です。
