■ If the electoral system of the US Presidential Election was "total number of votes won" instead of "total number of electors", neither Bush (junior) in 2000 nor Trump in 2016 was President!

Looking at the table above, we can see two things.
One is that there were two candidates who were not elected as "President" despite the large number of "votes" in the six US presidential elections between 2000 and 2020. Understand.
They are the 2000 Democratic Gore candidate and the 2016 Democratic Clinton candidate.
The second is that if the "winning vote system" had been applied, the "Democratic Party candidate" would have been elected in all six presidential elections from 2000 to 2020.
That is, if "the decent electoral system" had been applied in the US presidential election, neither Bush Jr. nor Trump would have been President.
In particular, in the 2000 presidential election, Democratic candidate Gore won more "electors" through the "electoral system of time error" despite having more than 500,000 votes in total than Republican Bush (junior) candidates. It was "significant" that Bush was elected.
