新年会という言葉では言い表せない

一月やけに忙しくて、お正月以来オフなし。。。
だから、新年会もなかった

I couldn't take a day-off in January
due to my tight schedule.
I didn't have any New Year's Party...

I tweeted like this on Twitter the other day.
Then a wonderful singer Shun Sakai invited me
to her house.
A couple of days ago.

と、つぶやいたら
なんと、尊敬する歌手の先輩：酒井俊さんが
「じゃぁ、やろうか？」って言ってくれて
俊さんの自宅に招いて下さいました
２～３日前のことです

Another singer friend Rei Takagi, Shun-san
and I had a "off-the-record, new year's party"
together.

高樹レイさんと３人で、
ジャズシンガーの、オフレコ・新年会


俊さんが作ってくれたタイのグリーンカレー
うまい！
まんなかのサラダは
レイさんが作って持って来てくれた

Shun-san entertained us
with her homemade Thai green curry.
It was delicious.
Rei made salad and brought it all the way
from home. Thank you.

私はワインとデザートを持参

I brought a bottle of red wine and some dessert.

俊さんのお宅の素晴しいこと
NYかと勘違いしちゃうような素敵なお宅
やっぱ、アーティストは、ああじゃなきゃね
でもね、あのおうちに私が住んでも
ああは、ならないわけ
お洒落な人が住むから
あんな風に素敵になるわけよ

I was amazed by Shun-san's house.
It was very nice like the one I see in the movie.
I felt as if I were in NY, not Japan.
That is the artist's house.
Wonderfully decorated with the antique
furniture and so on...

If I lived in that house, it would not be
as nice as that.
I am amazed by her great sense of beauty.


色んな話をしたり、聞いたり
そして、素晴しいオーディオセット
しかも大音量で、シナトラ、ペギー・リー、モーガナ・キングなど
私も大好きな人のLPをかけてくれました

We talked a lot about various things
and listened to some albums
of our favorite singers
such as
Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Morgana King
and some more by LP.
She has a great record player by McIntosh.
Wow.

しかも、
私が、ふと「湯豆腐食べてないな～」って
つぶやいたのを覚えておいてくれて
俊さんが、ちょう美味しい湯豆腐を作って
くれてました

She remembered that I had tweeted
"I haven't had Yudoufu for a long time"
and secretly cooked some
and served it for me.


感謝感激です

You know how thankful I was for her?




また、アソビに行きたいな

I would love to visit her house again soon.
