路上駐車が消えた Illegal Parking Vehicles Disappeared

自宅から病院へ行く途中の約200mは、いつも路上駐車でまったく歩けないほどであったが、先週金曜日の朝からその車が忽然と姿を消した

写真はその道路であるが、200m先は北方の空港に続く大きな幹線道路との交差点で、それを越えた右側が私の職場の病院である

手前左側は新築された病院の別館で、今月中に泌尿器科が全部移転することになっている

また右側はやはり新築された看護大学の建物で、4月から運用開始の予定である

さらにその先の右側のブレーキランプが点いている車あたりからが中古車マーケットで、中には日本から輸入された中古車が全部で1000台近く並んでいる

問題の路上駐車は、この中古車マーケットの車で、道路に直角に全部で百数十台が駐車され、毎朝少年たちがこの車を洗っていたのだが、それがある日姿を消したわけである

長くこの地域に住んでいる大家さんに理由を聞いてみると、警察からの警告があったらしい

以前に街中での駐車違反の取り締まりをレポートしたが、200mにわたって道路を不法占拠して洗車することが、取り締まりの対象となったらしい

ミャンマータイムスにも、警察による駐車違反取り締まり強化が報道されている

On the way to the hospital from my flat, there had been a lot of vehicles parked on both side of the street for 200m.

It was a kind of hazard for the walkers but on Friday last week it suddenly disappeared.

The photo is the concerned street and forwarding 200m there is the intersection with the one of main road north bound to the airport.

There is a new hospital building on the left which the urology department will move there soon.

On the right there is the new building of nursing university which will be used coming April.

Also on the right starting the vehicle which is turning the break lamp there is a second hand car market imported from Japan and about 1000 vehicles are sold there.

The concerning illegal parking is almost from this market.

There were more than 100 vehicles parked on both side rectangular with the street and boys were washing them in the early morning.

But all of them suddenly disappeared.

I asked my landlord who has been lived there for a long time, and he told the police alerted about park and wash with illegal occupation.

Myanmar Times reported too recently the city police office is strengthening the illegal parking.

ミャンマーパン事情 Breads in Myanmar

ミャンマー事情シリーズ、今日はパンです

同じアジアで、カンボジアやベトナムはフランスの文化を受け継いで、クロワッサンやパンがとても美味しい

しかしミャンマーのパンは全て生地に砂糖を多く含んでいて甘過ぎる

例えば食パンもかなり糖分がはいっているようでトースターで焼くとすぐに焦げる

私はほぼ毎日お弁当にサンドイッチを作って持参する

昨日は階下のコンビニで普通の食パンが売り切れだったので、山型のものを購入した

今朝、それを端から2枚スライスしてトーストにして朝食を済ませ、そのあと弁当用にさらにスライスすると1枚目で大きな空洞ができた

2枚目では中央部に何か黒いものが出現したので、ちょっと舐めてみたら思い切り甘い

なんとびっくり中にこしあんが閉じ込めてある

言わば食パン型特大アンパンだった

これでサンドイッチは無理なので、今日の弁当はあきらめた

昼に病院近くのベーカリーカフェに行って、チキンバーガーとアイスティーでランチを済ませ、店内を見るとちょっと変わったパンがあったので早速買ってみた

日本のコッペパンにちょっと似ているがだいぶ大きい

表面も柔らかいのでフランスパンではないようだ

これがどんな味なのか、明日の朝の楽しみができた

The Myanmar series, it is “Bread” today.

In Asian region, Vietnam and Cambodia had been influenced by the French culture and they have very nice croissants and breads.

But in Myanmar, all breads ingredients much sugar and they are too sweet.

When I make a toast it becomes bracken soon.

Most of days, I make sandwiches by myself and bring them to the office for a lunch.

Yesterday I bought a loaf of bread at the grand floor of the apartment.

This morning I had sliced two pieces of bread and had them as my breakfast.

Then I sliced further and at the first slice the big cavity appeared in the center.

At the second slice something black part appeared and I tasted it.

Surprisingly it was the bean fine paste of very much sweet.

It was the big “anpan”.

It was not good for the sandwich and I gave up bringing lunch today.

At lunch time I had a chicken burger at the nearest bakery cafe and found a good looking loaf and bought it.

It looked like a coupe in Japan but much bigger.

The surface was soft and it may not a French loaf.

I’m looking forward to tasting it tomorrow morning.

唐揚げ定食 Fried Chicken Dinner

はじめて鶏の唐揚げを作ってみました

朝のうちに鶏の胸肉を一口大に切って、醬油、にんにく、ミリンのタレに浸けておきます

夕方炊飯器のスイッチを入れた後、その肉を取り出してキッチンペーパーで少し水分を取り、片栗粉をまぶして、小さめの鍋にオリーブオイルを1cmほど入れて、十分に熱くなったら投入します

こんがりと色目が付いたところで、順に取り出して網のついた皿でしばらく油を切ります

3食分ぐらいできたので、1食を残してあとは冷凍します

口に入れるとにんにくの香りが広がって、あ～美味しい

I tried to cook the fried chicken first time.

In the morning, cut the chicken breast meat into the bite size and put them into the sauce of soy sauce, minced garlic and mirin.

In the evening, after switching on the rice cooker, taking out the meat and remove the water by the kitchen paper.

Then sprinkle the starch and put them into a small pan which is preheated with 1cm of olive oil.

When they become brown take them out and put on the net to drain off the oil.

It was about three times of one plate, take one and keep others in the freezer.

Having a piece of meat the flavor of garlic spread in the mouth, what’s nice!

 

シュエダゴン・パゴダ Shwedagon Pagoda

ミャンマーで生活していて、シュエダゴンへ行かないのはもったいないと思い、行ってきました

実は12月にも行ったのですが、その時は外側から写真を撮っただけで、中には入っていません

シュエダゴンは4方向に入り口があり、西向きの参道が一番長くこれが表参道のように見えます

やや陽が傾いて涼しくなった4時半ごろに行って、暗くなるまで中にいるとライトアップされて、昼間とは異なった趣があります

今日は日曜日で観光客が多く、とくにフランス語をよく耳にしました

丸い仏塔の周囲を8等分して、そこにミャンマー特有の8曜日の仏様が祀られています

自分の生まれた曜日のところへ行って、そこでお祈りをします

私の出生日は火曜日だそうで、時計回りに歩いて火曜日のコーナーに行くと、火曜日の守護神であるライオンの像に護られた仏様があります

西門から入って45度ぐらい回ったところに火曜日のコーナーがありました

人の左手は不浄とされているため、お寺では仏様には左半身を見せないように、すなわち時計方向に回ります

近隣の仏教国の僧侶も多く訪れて、すっかり観光客になって写真撮影をしています

また、普段首都ではあまり見かけないミャンマーの少数民族の人たちの綺麗な民族衣装も見ることができました

外国人の入場料は地元の人の10倍のUS8ドルですが、後で考えると納得です

Living in Myanmar, I thought that I should see Shwedagon Pagoda and visited there.

Actually I had visited there in December to take photo for the Christmas card but I didn’t enter that time but only outside.

It has the four gates facing to NSEW and the west gate is the longest and seems a main gate.

Enter from the west gate around half past four, the sun is going to sink and it becomes little cool and spend time until dark, the tower will be lighted up and it seems quite different from the day time.

It is Sunday today and many foreigners had visited and I often hear the French.

Dividing in 8 around the main tower, there are 8 days corner of traditional Myanmar calendar.

Everyone should visit every own corner defined by the date of birth.

My corner was the Tuesday and walking as clock wise there was a Tuesday corner defended by two lions at about a quarter from the west.

Our left hands are defined as dirty and we have to walk around as clock wise to avoid showing left hand to the Buddha.

Many monks from neighbor countries were visited and they had taken photos like sightseeing visitors.

I could see the minority ethnics in Myanmar who we don’t see in the town.

Foreigners entrance fee was 8 USD as 10 times of local peoples but after coming back I felt it was reasonable.
