本日から機器の定期検査を開始しました
個々の器械を決められた手順に従って検査しますが、手始めにNK社製のICUと手術室の患者モニタについて実施します
今日はICUのモニタを午前中に1台検査し、午後にもう1台検査しました
最初に目視検査をおこないますが、要点は外観上の欠損、瑕疵、変形、変色、変質などです
異常がなければ、電源を投入して様子を見ます
まず、異音、異臭などがないか確認して、そのうえで機能チェックに入ります
機能はシミュレーターを使って、すべての機能が正常に働いているかどうかを確認します
今回の検査対象機種は、2003年の1月に納入されて、それ以降ほとんど大きなトラブルなしに働き続けてきた、実に働き者の器械たちです
機能チェックが終わったら、裏蓋を開けて内部の清掃にかかります
器械の内部には驚くほどの量の埃が堆積しています
これを順次掃除機で吸い取って、コネクタ類は一度外してから締めなおします
すっかりきれいになったらもとに戻して、再度機能チェックをして完了です
今回の検査は、病院長に「予防的保守」の重要性をアピールするためのもので、報告書には当然点検前後の写真を添付します
今回は現地のNK社代理店のエンジニアが手伝ってくれたおかげで、私は並行して報告書を記載して、1台当たり2時間で終了しました
また現地代理店の技術レベルは思ったより上で、安心と感心しました
Today I started the periodic inspection of medical equipment.
It is to inspect the each equipment according to the process which decided previously.
This I will perform the inspection for the patient monitors in ICU and Operation Theatre.
Today I finished one from ICU in the morning and other one in the afternoon.
First procedure is visual inspection and its points of view are; to check any mechanical defect, deformation, abnormal changes and discoloration.
If there is no findings proceed to the next step function check.
Using the simulator all functions should be checked.
The objects of this time were very good workers installed at the beginning of 2003 and had been worked almost 11years continuously without major problem.
After finishing the function test, open the cover and start the cleaning of inside.
Inside of the equipment, there is unbelievable a lot of dust.
Sucking the dust with the vacuum cleaner and reconnect the all connectors.
After cleaning, put all things back to the original place and perform the functional test again.
This time procedure is to appeal the importance of “preventive maintenance” to the hospital director and of course the photos of before and after should be attached on the report.
This time I could have a help of the local agent of NK, it took about two hours per one.
I could make a report at the same time.
The technical level of the agent seemed much better than I expected and I felt relieved and admired.
