昨日あたりから病院の職員が私を見る目が違ってきたような気がします
おそらく月初めの職員会で、院長が私のことに触れたようで、とても歓迎されている気がします
今私が最も仲が良いのは、麻酔科のソウ（Soe）医師で、ほかのスタッフにも積極的に紹介してくれます
彼は私がかつて働いていた日本の医療機器メーカーNK社のファンで、2003年にJICAの無償案件で供与された患者モニターが、一度も故障せずに働いていると褒めてくれます
私がその会社で38年間働いていたことを話すと、大変喜んでくれました
そのモニターは本体の故障はないものの、付属品の一部が欠けて重要な機能の一部が使えなくなっています
これを写真に撮ってNKに送り、部品を調達することを約束しました
オフィスに戻り、NK社あてのメールの下書きをしているときに、ドアがノックされ二人のミャンマー人医師が入ってきました
彼らはインターネット接続の材料を届けてくれたのです
RedLinkという現地プロバイダーがやっているサービスで、携帯電話の代わりに受信してそれを自分専用のWi-Fiにして飛ばしてくれる無線LANルーターです
私のオフィスは鉄筋の建物の1階で、電波の受信状態が悪くほとんどつながりませんが、今日アパートに持ち帰って試すとかなり快適につながります
早速NK社にメールを送りました
というわけでこれから毎日これとPCを担いで出勤することになりそうです
また明日は、オフィスの上層階に移動して試してみたいと思います
Around a recent couple of days, the all people working in the hospital seem to watch me with different eyes as before.
Probably the director of the hospital told about me at the monthly meeting of the beginning of every month.
I feel they are very much welcoming me.
The best friend at this moment is Dr. Soe the anesthesiologist and he always introduces me to the other doctors and staff.
He is a good supporter of the Japanese medical equipment manufacturer NK which I had been worked for.
He says that patient monitors which had installed in 2003 is still working well without major problem.
I told him that I had been worked for NK for 38 years and he was very surprised and congratulated me.
Almost no problem on the main function but some of them had problems on their accessories.
Then they have lost the part of important function.
I took pictures of the problems and I told him to send pictures and ask that if they will be able to provide the spare parts.
After come back to the office I wrote the draft of the letter to NK and two Myanmar doctors had come.
They provided the internet connection materials for me.
It is a kind of Wi-Fi rooter which is the service by RedLink.
My office is at the ground floor and not good condition for radio wave receiving.
Soon after 4PM, I brought it to my flat and tested it.
I had sent an E-mail to NK soon.
Tomorrow I will start to bring it and PC in my bag every day.
I will check it at the upper floor of the office tomorrow.
