来週月曜日から「コールドチェーン」という名前のプログラムのワークショップが開催されます
これは熱帯性感染症（おもにマラリア）のワクチンをとくに地方の医療機関で保管するための保冷庫を配布するもので、ユニセフとJICAのコラボレーションです
ワークショップはおもに保冷庫のメンテナンスに関するもので、とくに電気のない地方診療所などには、ソーラシステムといっしょに導入されますので、機器の技術講習がおこなわれます
そこへソロモンの保健省が相乗りして、ワクチンの管理と投与基準などに関する講習を医療従事者（ナース）向けにおこなおうとしています
前者はユニセフの予算でカバーされますが、後者は保健省の予算でおこなわれます
ところが直前の週末金曜日になって、保健省の予算が間に合わないので水曜日からに延期するということになりました
これに参加するために前乗りで金曜日にホニアラに上がってきた地方隊員は二日間待たされることになりました

From the next Monday the work shop of the program named “Cold chain” will be held.
This program is to provide the refrigerators to keep the vaccines especially for malaria in each rural hospitals and clinics and sponsored by UNICEF and JICA.
The work shop will be mainly about the maintenance for the refrigerators especially with the solar power system in the rural clinics that are the electricity not available.
At this opportunity the Ministry of Health and Medical Services took advantage and going to have a work shop of the vaccines management for the clinical staff.
The maintenance work shop will be sponsored by UNICEF but vaccine management must be covered by the MHMS.
However the budget preparation of the MHMS was delayed and the work shop was decided at the weekend to start from Wednesday.
To attend this work shop JOCVs came up to Honiara have to wait for two extra days.
