朝から車のメンテナンスをしました
まず念入りに洗車をして、そのあとジャッキアップしてタイヤのローテーション
左後輪を外してそこにスペアタイヤを装着、その後右の前輪を外して左後ろにあったタイヤを装着
次に右後輪を外して同様に左前輪と交換して最後に左前輪を左後輪に戻して終了です
これで後ろの二輪が前に左右入れ替わった状態で装着され、前二輪はそのまま後ろに交換したことになります
最近の小型乗用車はほとんどがFF（フロントエンジン・フロントドライブ）ですので、駆動輪である前輪の摩耗が早く、しかも左側通行をしているため左右の摩耗が異なってきます
そこで駆動輪には溝が十分残っている後輪から左右を入れ替えて装着するのが一般的です
ただ後輪も左右入れ替えるに越したことはないのですが、スペアタイヤを1回装着するだけでローテーションを行うにはこの方法が一番楽です
そのあとボンネットを点検し、ラジエターとウィンドウウォッシャーに水を補給して、さらにオートマオイルも少しだけ補充しました
最後の仕上げはワックスがけです
そのほかタイヤを外した際にブレーキ系配管やブレーキパッドなども点検しましたが、とくに異常はありませんでした
この国にもカーショップはいくつかありますが、ワックスを売っているのを見たことがありません
私は日本から車を送るときにトランクにひとつ入れておいたので、それを3か月ごとに塗っています
これで帰国する時に少しでも高く売って、投資金額の一部でも取り戻せればと思っています
It is Sunday and no concrete plan to do.
I spent time for the vehicle maintenance by myself.
The first I washed my car carefully and after then accomplished the tire rotation.
Jacking up the left rear tire and swapped with spare tire first.
Next move to the right front and swapped with current one.
And move to right rear and swapped as well.
Finally swapped the left front with right rear and remove the spare tire and put one from the left front.
Then the rotation was finished.
This time rear tires moved to the front of other side of left and right but rear tires were just moved to front.
Most of the recent compact vehicles are FF (Front drive/Front Engine) and the front tires that are the driving wheels are worn away earlier than the rears and left and right are different worn due to keep left.
Generally the rear tires could be changed left and right too but using only one of small jack it was the shortest way.
After then I checked the engine room and refilled the window washer fluid and added a little automatic transmission fluid.
And when I removed the tires I checked the break piping and break pad but no problem was found.
Final process was the waxing up.
I’ve never seen the car wax in the car maintenance shop in this country but I put one in the trunk room when I sent this vehicle from Japan and put it every 3 months.
I hope that I could sell this vehicle at better price by this maintenance when I will go back Japan.
