すっかり筆不精になっておりました。
最近は旅行三昧。
年末年始に日本から彼女が来たときに小旅行に行ったのを皮切りに、その次の週にはアジスアベバから２５０ｋｍの湖のある町アワサへ行き、先週末はアジスから７３０ｋｍあるゴンダールというところへ行ってきた。
今回はそのゴンダールの写真を中心に紹介したいと思う。

I'm abosorbed in traveling around Ethiopia.
Start by going to short trip with my girlfriend around this new year, I went to Awasa where the beutiful lake is on the nect week of the short tirip.
Last week, I went to Gondar where the acient castle is located 730km away from Addis ababa where I live.
In this uploading, I'm going to introduce mainly about Gondar.
旅行は四泊五日、でも当初の予定は三泊四日。
途中車トラブルに見舞われ道中もう一泊を余儀なくされた。
何もかもが思うように行かないことがアフリカ、ここはエチオピアなのだと感じさせてくれる旅であった。
全体を通してとても満足している。
The trip was 5days 4nights, but the original plan was 4days 3nights.
We had few car troubles and had to stay one night longer on the way to Addis Ababa.
Nothing went propery made me feel I'm in Africa, Ethiopia.
Dispite those troubles, I'm very satisfied through the whole trip.
本気で旅行をまとめるとむっちゃ長くなるので、写真の説明と共に。
今回一つ目の目玉、ブルーナイルの滝。現地語ではティスアバイと呼ばれている。
アフリカを二分する大地溝帯に注ぐ滝。

途中こんな奇岩が。どうやってこんな風になったのか、エチオピアを旅しているとそんな風景に沢山出会う。
On the way to Gondar, there was such strange rock.
How does it become like this!? When you are trip around Ethiopia, you can oftenly find those scenery.
道中、今回の最高高度、3160ｍ。ここを車で走っている。
The highest altitude in this trip, 3160m. We are driving on this high.
滝へ向かう途中、道に迷った僕を案内してくれた現地の民族ゴッジャム達。半ズボンがトレードマーク。
On the way to Blue Nile fall. They are the Gojjams the people from the local tribe in Ethiopia.
They leaded me to the fall when I lost.
Short pants are there trademark.
これは道中の谷。山の頂上が高度2800mで、今居るここが1000m。一時間ほどでこの高低差を走り抜ける。
頂上は気温２０度でも、谷底では３０度超。この谷に日本が最近完成させたアバイ橋がある。鹿島建設の施工。
A valley on the way to Bahir dar. The top of the mountain is 2800m from sea level, the bottom of the valley is 1000m.
We drove this height in an hour.
The tempreture of the top is around 20c, the bottom is around 30c...
There is a bridge which is donated by Japan goverment and constructed by Kajima.
これはゴンダールのファシル城。１６世紀の建立。
今のエチオピアを考えるとこの技術は１６世紀にはありえないだろう！と思っていたら、誰が建てたのか不明であるとのこと。全会一致で外国からの技術だろう、と。
This is Fasil castle built in 16th century.
It is looks like impossible for Ethiopian when we think about there lately.
Nobody knows who designed and who built. Now I understand...
We unanimously agree that this must be from abroad.
今回の目的、ティムカット。タボットと呼ばれる十戒が書いてあるといわれる聖櫃が運ばれてくる祭り。この後このプールに僧侶達が入り、水は聖水として皆に崇められる。
The distination of this trip, Timcat.
The the ten commandments is coming to this town and this is the ceremony to celebrate it.
After this, these monks are got in to the pool and after that, the water is treated as holy water.
ゴンダールの夜。ヨーロッパの様な町並みで、なんだか不思議な気分であった。
A night in Gondar. It was looks like a Europe, I had a strange feeling a bit.
この国では生ビールはしばしばこうして運ばれてくる。
自分で注ぎ、注文はリットル単位。この国はビールとコーヒーがうまい！それでもう十分。
In this country, beer is sometime served in this style.
We pour it by ourselve and we are order it by each litter.
The beer and coffee in this country is wonderful! That is enough...
この国の主食、インジェラの原料テフ畑。
これ全て機械を使わずに人間が耕しています!!!
This is Tef, the ingredient of Injera, the staple food of Ethiopia.
There is no machine to cultinate this land!!! All by human power!!!
最後に訪れた町でちょっと脱線し、彼らにインジェラ畑を案内してもらった。
この国のたびでは車に乗り続け、目的地を目指す。その途中に腐るほどのテフ畑を見ていたが、こうして降り立つのは初めて。
エチオピア人に悩まされたたびだったが、彼らに連れられた僕らを畑の人たちは暖かく迎え入れてくれ、この旅は一件落着・・・
In the town which we visited in the end, they introduce us to the Tef farm.
The trip in this country, we are always on the car and watching at those form as to die, but this was the very first time to standing on the farm it is.
We were bothering about Ethiopian people but in the end of the trip, they welcomed us very nicely so this is the happy end of this trip.....?
