Happy Halloween!!
Two years ago, we used regular kitchen knives, but this time we got this and was easier to curve!!
こんなの売ってます。二年前はキッチン用ナイフで作ったので難しかったけど、今回はこれを使ったのでカービングもしやすかったよ。
We decided to curve pumpkin to make jack-o-lantern on the very day of Halloween day. This week will be very busy for both of us (My econ teacher scheduled a midterm tomorrow, the day after Halloween...), so yeah...we couldn't really go out to Halloween parties...sucks to be a student. (M&S in Monterey invited us to a porno costume Halloween party...we couldn't make it, but I am kind of curious how it went, must have been crazy
) I would never recommend anybody to take 18 units or over if one does not have to...well, I am gonna have fun curving at home w/ my man at least!

今年のハロウィーンはweekday。私は明日大事なテスト。教授ひどすぎるよ、ハロウィーンの翌日にテストだなんて。テスト日休んで他の人にテストを任せるらしい。飲むことが大好きなゴーゴゴー♪な教授なので今日はきっとパーティーだな。今取ってるクラスの教授の中で一番お気に入りな教授だけどね。
先日手に入れたパンプキンのカービングをしてハロウィーン気分をお家で楽しむ事に。今年はパンプキンが大きいのと、あんまり時間がないので、Aと一緒に一つのパンプキンをカービングする事に。

ハロウィーンによく使われるこのパンプキンの中身見た事ありますか？これ、すごく臭いんです。。。jack-o-lanternを作る為に中の種とグッチャになったのを取り出さなければいけないのですが。。。
「ね、種取るの誰がするの？」
「．．．。」

this really really stinks!! Who’s gonna put the hands inside to take all these seeds out.....????
Now you know who was cleaning up inside...
But it's all good cuz I can't curve fast and good, so you know who's gonna be curving the most of them! Ha ha ha!

ねとねとだし。私は彼みたいに上手にカービングできないので、パンプキンの掃除するかわりにカービングはほとんど任せ状態（笑）
Well, we were both curving outside but getting dark, so we moved the pumpkin from outside balcony to inside kitchen.

外のバルコニーでカービングしていたのですが、暗くなってきたのでキッチンへ移動。新聞を敷いてA頑張ってくれています。私は．．．少しカービングしたけど、写真を取ったり、横で邪魔してました

ハロウィーン用にカービングしたパンプキンを英語ではJack-o-lanternと言います。２年前のハロウィーンもAと一緒に作りました（二年前のjack-o-lanternの写真はここをクリックしてね。）今年は一緒に一つを作りました。ほとんどAがカーブしたんだけどね…へへへ中にキャンドルを入れて、アパートの外に置きました。 Jack-o-lanternを飾ってある家は「家にキャンディーありますよ」っていう目印になるらしいですよ。 Jack-o-lanternをセットしている時にアパート内の他の家のドアを激しくノックしている子供達の声が聞こえてきました。家も来てくれるかな？？
The first trick or treat kids knocking on our door. I wasn’t sure if anybody would come, so it was a very happy visit.
They had a big pillow case for the candies! The kids saw A setting the jack-o-lantern and said,
“Did you make them? That is so tight!”
He got that a lot from the neighbors and kids today and very proud A looked a lil like a father today. I didn’t think nobody else would come so gave a lot of candies to them…most of them are gone.
A ”What are you gonna do for the kids coming later?”
Me ”I couldn't help it, they just made me so happy♪”
今年の第一号(達)。誰も来ないかな？って思ってたから嬉しかった♪
この子達は大きな枕のケースを持ち歩きキャンディーをもらっていました。
Jack-o-lantern を見たこの子供達→「それ作ったの？めっちゃクールや！」(日本語訳)
得意げそうにその子供たちに話しかける A,ちょっと父親みたいでした（笑）
近所の方が飼われている猫まで不思議そうに Jack-o-lanternを見つめていました。
もう他には来ないかな？と思っていた私は彼らにたくさんキャンディーをあげたので、
A に後から来る子供の分ほとんどないじゃんって言われちゃった♪
私→「だって、嬉しかったんだもん
」
He is so cute, isn’t he? He is my favorite kid in the same apartment complex. A couple days ago when I saw him at the parking, he was so excited and telling me that he was gonna be a batman. This lil kid waves at me whenever I see him and is so cute♪
After seeing them, A missed his own lil brother and sister in Miami. We hear over the phone that B was a Ninja turtle and R was a princess♪and A’s dad was a cowboy**
このバットマンかわいいでしょ？同じアパート内に住んでいる私お気に入りの子供。
先日駐車場であったときも、バットマンになるんだって張り切ってたんだ♪
いつも走り回りながら手を振ってくれる子なんだ♪
Batman kid’s mom and his lil brother. He was also really really cute!!
小さい子供達は、大きなお姉ちゃん、お兄ちゃんと一緒にやってくるか、パパ＆ママと一緒。
これは、バットマンのママと弟。これまたかわいすぎ～♪
A lot of kids came at a time. This lil girl had wings♪
バッドマンのお友達も一緒です。一度に８人くらい小さい子たちが来てくれました。
この女の子は蝶の羽根つき
Out neighbor. The middle is their mom, who works at the apt complex. I didn’t think she was wearing a mask in dark and couldn’t tell who she was…thought those lil kids came with a grandma for real!
お隣さん。真ん中は二人の子供のママ、アパート内のメインテナンスの方です。
ママの仮面、暗いと仮面に見えなくておばあちゃんと一緒に来てるのかと思ってた。
◎ハロウィーンディナー◎
ウィンナーにパン生地を巻き付けて、ミイラに見せようとしたのですが。。。
う～ん、なんかミイラに見えない。。。ケチャップやマスタードをつけて頂きました。
明日、テストの私ですが、その割には楽しくハロウィーンを過ごせました！？
仮装してクラブ行きたかった気もするけど、ここは我慢！
学生は、勉強第一ですね～。。。寝ずに勉強しました。。。
