Cosmos flowers are also called the cherry blossoms of autumn. Fields of cosmos can be seen in many places in Japan even on land that is not fertile. The pink, white, orange and yellow flowers bloom from mid-August to the end of September. While most of the landscape is turning gold and brown, Cosmos lends purple, pink, and white to the autumn palette.
The shape is little similar to sakura, cherry blossom flower. That's why we write the name of flower autumn sakura.
