Premiership

チェルシー、リーグ最終戦 ホーム無敗記録リヴァプールに並ぶ その3

What Jose Mourinho said after the last game of Premiership 06-07 season with Everton. Chelsea equalled Liverpool's long-standing unbeaten home record of 63 consecutive matches. But he was not happy.

Sunday, 13 May 2007

Q: Jose, sometimes you have been critical to the referees, the two important decisions today, seems to going to your favour?

JM: Do you think so?

Q: Well, - followed which was not given and followed -'s equaliser.

Jm: - when the Premiership is over?

Q: huh--

JM: (首を振る)So I don't think is important - (you say) no penalty for us when somebody had a jump and struck handball -

Q: Yeah-

JM: -no penalty?

Q: Do you say anything even in the matter of the season? it is obvious that.

JM: it does not matter, Now, is not important. The important penalties are Middlesborough in the last minute in Old Trafford, the penalty Sheffield, and the red card with twenty minutes to go, and the penalty Tottengham when were 0-0 minutes 44, that is when is important, No! Now is over.

Q: What is mean to you, Chelsea equalled the Liverpool's record of 63 home games unbeaten.

JM: It is nice but no more than that. I think we are not in football record, but football for title, to win trophies, and that is the most important thing. but I cannot say that it is not honour to share that such a hystorical Liverpool team I think the 70's is magnificent. 3 consecutive seasons at home without single defeat is not easy, 63 matches, means a lot. I think we can keep this spirit at home and keep the record is the next motivation for everybody but the day we have to lose the game at home, I think we have to keep going and leaving, the record one day has to finished, but the culture being very very strong at home, I think something that Chelsea has to keep.

Q: Next season of course Chelsea can extend the record and become record holders and in that you are right, and you were waving at the end of the game today, Do you give an insurance to you will be here next season and you will extend the record next season?

JM: Of course, of course I will. I was waving because is the last game of the season and unfortunately only 25000 of them can go to Wembley some of them have to stay at home because no more tickets for them. They support our team from the beginning of the season to the last moment, they understood in the difficult moment, they understood the team was not in the maximum - - of power, and I think that they understood people are available, these everything we could have better season. so I'm very happy with supporters and feeling with them we'll be forever positive.

Q: Thank you very much.
