文明のターンテーブルThe Turntable of Civilization

日本の時間、世界の時間。
The time of Japan, the time of the world

No one can deny this disparity. Because it is a reality.

The following is from Mr. Kaji Nobuyuki's column 'immutable laws,' which is the beginning of this month's monthly magazine, Hanada.
Various strange cases have occurred recently.
Looking at them from a distance, it became clear why they happened.
If that reason why an older adult points out makes a hit, it is to cope based on it.
It is through the media, but I see the events so.
It is an extension of the general theory of human groups.
Readers, remember your elementary and junior high school days.
Frankly, about 20% of classes can understand things and become independent. Next, as much as 60 percent, it is possible to manage somehow.
Twenty percent of the remainder are helpless.
It is a matter of ability and character.
For example, there are over 100 public high schools in Osaka, but the entrance examination is the same.
As a result of the test, assuming a perfect score of 100, the top class high school enrollment is around 98 points, and the lowest class is approximately 5 points.
No one can deny this disparity. Because it is a reality.
Then, after entering high school, tragedy is waiting.
In other words, about 20% to 30% of those who cannot understand the contents of the high school course effectively.
The tragedy has begun in junior high school.
For example, quadratic functions in mathematics are probably not known by half.
I was a tutor all along around the time when I was that past, college student.
When I was in charge of a male high school student, he couldn't understand the meaning of the expression 2x = 6, even if I explained how to use it by all possible means.
I was glad when I finally spent an hour letting him understand.
However, when I went to the next week, he couldn't understand anymore, ending up right back where one started.
The person who cannot understand doesn't understand.
Really.
However, it is not a matter of education or the content of education. The terrifying reality is at the root of the problem.
What is it?
This is it.
Do all entrance into high school persons from a junior high school graduate know like the whole country for some percent?
You may say approximately all entrance into high school substantively for what a little less than 99 percent.
That means (A) 20% to understand, (B) 60% to somehow understand, (C) 20% do not understand, that is, three years.
However, in high school, it is the reality that those who do not know are cut off. The significant part of the man of that (C) class worked, coming out to the society, around the time when there was that past, a few entrances into high school persons.
It was mainly so-called manual labor, for example, working with a pickax and gaining on-site skills.
But what about now?
Physical labor shaking pickaxes has disappeared due to the advancement and adoption of machines.
Then, the (C) class people who were suitable for such physical labor lost their place of work.
In the meantime, as if they were going to work for a service that they couldn't understand, or finally went on to college and graduated, and were unemployed. Many people are going to withdraw from the world.
The layers up to the upper half of (A) and (B) will be able to work on their own, but the people at the bottom of (B) and (C) are various trials.
Manual labor-it is necessary.
Agriculture is also being mechanized but is basically physical labor.
Agriculture is the most important industry of food production.
Do not rely on foreign workers for agricultural and forestry work, but try to dock with Japanese (B) and (C) classes.
The people mentioned above are mainly about men.
On the other hand, there are women.
For women, an elderly person, I have no confidence to discuss.
The only thing I can say is that they are poorly socialized and pursue their own happiness. That's right as nature, and that's fine. I want to discuss it someday.
To reiterate, to stabilize Japanese society, it is necessary to create a place for physical labor (e.g., agriculture) in the modern age and to attract suitable people.
According to the old man, [even the unfamiliar Wujin and Yuejin] use the same boat and across the river, if they come to the wind, they will be rescued each other like their left and right hands.
